Complaint Review: Sherry Peels -

 Sherry Peels is a wonderful careing person. She runs a horse camp for critically sick children because she been there herself. If you have never had to worry about how far away you are from a hospital please count your blessings. The children at this camp have a wide array of maladies from Diabetes, to Epilepsy, and even Cystic Fibrosis. She accepts children for her camp from all hospitals including ET Childrens Hospital.

I am truely grateful for my daughter to be able to attend this horse camp. Not only does she get to ride a wonderfully train therapeutic horse, but there are so many more activites to do on the farm. My child has blossomed since coming to camp. Her vocabulary has grown and her gait has become almost normal.This oppportuniy could not happen without the generosity of all the sponsors. I want to thank them for the toys, treats, and especially all the smiles on each of the kid's faces.

To the people that use this forum as their own personal place to malign hard working innocent people, shame on you.

 I want to say that Sherry Peels has been a Godsend to our family! Nottingham Farm is a blessing & ANYONE who says anything different DOES NOT know what their talking about, why would anyone want to destroy something that is helping so many sick children? Sherry Peels loves all these children, I know because my child is 1 of them & I witness the love she gives all our children every year. All the children adore Sherry. When you hurt her with all your hateful words, you hurt the children as well. These children feel so much pain due to illness every day of their lives but this camp gets them away from it all & let's them live a dream that they wouldn't get to enjoy without the love & support of Sherry Peels & her wonderful family..

 I want to say that whoever is writing this bad report on Sherry Peels & her horse camp should really be ashamed of them self because Sherry Peels has done nothing but opened her heart & extended her hand to help our children learn about these beautiful horses, she shares her love of horses with anyone who is willing to learn. I know for a fact she would NEVER drug a horse either, she loves these beautiful horses.. My child has been fortunate to have been able to go to this camp for a few years now, through out the year all my child or any of these children are surrounded with are tests, shots, pain that they deal with due to their illnesses but Sherry & her wonderful family as well as these beautiful horses give our children a week of normal that they would never get to experience if it wasn't for Sherry Peels Nottingham Farm.

This horse camp has been & is one of the best things that has happened to my child. Sherry Peels is a wonderful person who loves & cares so much for the children. She gives our kids opportunities that they wouldn't have otherwise, they learn so much from her & the horses are so gentle & loving with the kids. The therapy the children receive through these beautiful horses is amazing & impossible to really put in words. My child was sick for quiet some time but you should see the smile on her face now when she sees these sweet horses. We could learn so much from Sherry Peels & anyone that says anything mean about her definitely DOES NOT know what their talking about.

I have read the posting that occurred 9-15 on this website about Nottingham Farms and Sherry Peels by an anonymous person.  PLEASE real ALL items below and translate for yourself.

Follow through with calling the local police/sheriff office there in Knoxville for Roberts Road and talk with the Property Crimes detective.  He probably won't write a report, but he could probably tell you if he is getting calls about this place.

FILE A COMPLAINT AT WWW.ATTORNEYGENERAL.TN.GOV. (DETAILS BELOW)

If there are any other people that have experienced this same thing, there would be a report filed and you would need to know that information. Some people don't follow through, but they need to. 

Anyone that thinks they have experienced what was described in this post NEEDS TO CALL KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND SEE IF OTHER REPORTS HAVE BEEN FILED.  I believe it would be the KNOX County Sheriff's office at 865-215-2518 and speak to the detective that handles Propert Crimes. They may not write the report because it is considered a CIVIL complaint, but the detective may can tell you if they are getting other similar calls.

You also need to CALL THE TENNESSEE DIVISION OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS located in Nashville at 615-741-4737.  They can tell you if there are any complaints filed/pending/resolved,.... and FILE A COMPLAINT VIA THE INTERNET AT WWW.ATTORNEYGENERAL.TN.GOV. 

Click on the link on left-hand side of page "FORMS AND PUBLICATIONS" and "File a Consumer Complaint".  You should be contacted within 30 days after the Seller has been contacted to respond to your complaint.

Anyone that is considering any type of dealings/purchasing with a business or charity should CALL AND SEE IF OTHER REPORTS HAVE BEEN FILED AT THE Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs and Attorney General.TN.Gov office.

If any company,... for example.... like DIXIE STAMPEDE, or any other company that uses horses for professional or business use has been mentioned as affiliated with Nottingham Farms or Sherry Peels, or resourcing any horses from them, they should CALL AND SEE IF OTHER REPORTS HAVE BEEN FILED.  If not, YOU NEED TO FILE A REPORT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL.TN.GOV OFFICE.     YOU WOULD ALSO NEED TO CONTACT THE SECRETARY OF STATE AT 615-741-2555 TO FILE A REPORT OF ANY CONCERNS WITH THIS CHARITY.  This way all reports/complaints can be compiled and assist with investigation. 

The Secretary of State investigates any claims involving charities that involve misrepresentation, misuse, or dangerous situations to others, including cancer children at a horse riding camp. They would also investigate claims of being affiliated with other Medical institutions/hospitals.
