Shop Sunshine rip-off! BROOKLYN New York
I live in NYC. So when I saw they had low prices.I decided that this is great. I could pickup my item ,and also save on the shipping. The Harman Kardon receiver I wanted was listed as "IN STOCK". But I know its difficult to keep websites product stock up to date. So I decided to call them before I went over. They told me "Yes the receiver is in stock". Then I was asked for my credit card information. I told them I lived nearby and would like to come pick up the item. In fact, their web site says they encourage local buyers to pick up the items. It says "Local buyers call for pickup, and your item will be waiting for you."
As soon as I told the salesman I wanted to pick it up. I was told the item needed to pre-ordered". Funny but a moment ago when he thought I was going to have it shipped. It was "IN STOCK"! I said no thank you and hung up. I did go down to their store, just to check it out. Their store is very small with very few products on display. Unlike the photos on thier website. When I asked where all the merchandise is. I was told they have a warehouse nearby. So I said Ok, then I asked about a few other receivers that I was interested in. (All of which are listed as IN STOCK")I was hoping they could call their warehouse. Then I would have one of the receivers in minutes. As they claim on their web site. But they told me did not have any of the items I asked for in stock. Yet on their web site, or when you call them. They tell you they have everything you ask for in stock!
