Dealer/Broker;  Dean Hamilton AKA: Shore Points RV

Motorhome - 2003 Coachmen Leprechaun 317KS VIN#1FDXE45S42HB28078

Contract/Deposit Date: 01/14/2015

Quit Contract Date: 02/11/2015

Final Refund Request Letter Date: 02/12/2015

Contract date-January 14, 2015: Line 3 of Shore Points RV Buyer Agreement states; Balance of Sale Amount is due to Shore Points RV upon satisfactory inspection.  Dean Hamilton misrepresented the drivability of this vehicle for several weeks and did not inform us until January 29, 2015 that the motorhome could not be driven because the motorhome cover was (is) frozen to the roof.  Therefore as of February 12, 2015 we are still unable to have any inspection or repairs done.  Since January 15, 2015 we have made numerous attempts with Shore Points RV to schedule inspections with a local mechanic shop who had previously done maintenance work on the motorhome.  We told Shore Points Rv that we did not want an inspection done by anyone unless the motorhome could be driven to a mechanic shop.

Dean Hamilton has tried numerous times to convince us to pay the $23K balance before the repairs and inspections have been done for two reasons: 1. On January 15 the dealer states that “we need to pay balance so he can get title and we can get tags/registration”.  2.  On February 11 the dealer states that “seller needs to pay off his loan because he can’t keep making payments while waiting for closing on motorhome”.

Dean Hamilton misrepresented himself involving the Ford Safety Recall on this vehicle which Dean did not know about until we purchased a CARFAX report;  1.On January 17 Dean told my wife Joanne that “he would take care of the Ford Safety Recall himself prior to the NC delivery” and 2.  On January 23, 2015 Dean told Mark Confer that “the Recall repair is the responsibility of the new owner and that he would not take care of it”.

Dean Hamilton has misrepresented himself as the agent for Shore Points RV for the above mentioned reasons.  In addition, he has not been directly involved with the sale of this motorhome as his interests appear to lie elsewhere on other ventures.  He has been working for motorhome dealers in Florida since we first contacted him on January 13, 2015.
