Singer Laser Storm ripoff Los Angeles California
I ordered the Singer Vacuum over the phone on the July 24, 2005. The entire purchase process was automated, and it did not give the total amount of the order or the confirmation number at the end of the phone call.
On July 27th, they charged my bank account $353.70, which is about four times of what the bill should have been.
I called the customer service line in July , and they put me on hold forever numerous times. They claimed they were just the shipper & couldn't just credit me. I called back, and I was on hold for another 45 minutes when someone finally came on the phone. They told me they charged me for four vacuums instead of one. They said that they will give me a refund, and gave me a return authorization number for the cancellation of the order.
I have tracked my shippment they received it Aug 4th.
Just like everyone else, I haven't received my refund yet and it has been over a month since I cancelled my order. I saw one ripoff report where this person got charged the same amount of money ($353.70) and in the same exact situation. So I have copied her email & just changed a few words, because it is the exact same situation. I am so ticked off now!!
THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A SIMPLE MISTAKE. IT LOOKS LIKE THEY DO THIS TO EVERYONE TO COMMIT FRAUD. THESE PEOPLE FROM SINGER ARE THIEFS!
