In April 2012 my wife and I had bought a second new car with Sirius XM free trial. At the end of the trial I called to start a two year contract with the company because I liked the service so much. The people at Sirius said I would be getting a "deal" on a two year contract because the new car would be our second account seeing that my wife's car already had an account with Sirius. I found out later that they were lying and I was paying just as much for the new car as we were paying for my wife's first sirius account..

Secondly, Sirius was to bill my debit card in 3 payments with an installment plan. My card was billed 3 times the amount agreed upon within minutes of me calling to start the 2 year contract. After being hung up on by Sirius 3 times I finally succeeded in getting a representative to cancel the account and refund my money. When I asked for a confirmation number Sirius told me that they could not give me one and it would appear on my next statement".

The next day my radio stopped working and I was waiting the 3-5 days for my account to be refunded. 1 week later Sirius had not refunded any money. I called and they said they couldn't process the refund even though they had no problem billing me 3X the agreed upon amount and they were able to quickly shut my radio service off. I have been told it will be another 3-5 days and I will be refunded, but I don't believe them.

This company has been investigated before because of these types of unethical actions and it looks like they are at it again. I recommend that if you can live without Sirius Satellite Radio that you do just that. I doubt if I will ever get my money back from them...
