I have also found myself in this same situation! They pick and choose who they do this to because my husband and I didn't renew at the same time and only I was billed. When I called they gave me the run around and said they set me many letters in the mail, but they didn't send me any. I never agreed to an auto renewal and received bills and phone calls every year for me to renew my subscription. This year I traded in my vehicle and opted not to transfer to my new car. That's when they chose to steal my money and send me a collection notice. I've never heard of a company stealing money because you didn't want to renew their services. They should be charged for theft and lying about contacting their customers who don't want their service anymore!
