Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

On Saturday October 17, 2015 my fiance and I paid 135.99 to go to Six Flags over Georgia in Austell, GA. For those of you who don't know Austell, GA is considered the Atlanta area. Upon arrving we noticed that the park was crowded, but decided that it was typical for a themepark to be a little crowded. However, when we paid for our tickets and reached the inside of the park we realized that we were wrong.

As we struggled to push and shove past all of the people, we finally squeezed in to one of the first roller coasters that we saw after entering (4:30pm). It was called the Dare Devil Dive. We were standing next to a sign that said "Wait time from this point 90 minutes" which is long but we decided we would wait. Well, after 2 1/2 hours we are approximately halfway through the line. This is not an exxageration. At this point I can stretch my neck up and see the employees loading and unloading, which is barely what I would have called it. I have never in my life seen someone so ignorant, careless and sloppy with their jobs. It was taking an excess of 4+ minutes to unload one set of people and 3+ minutes to load the other side in to the roller car. I'm all for safety, but I can also read BS from a mile away. The attitudes and work ethics of the employees at Six Flags over Georgia is far below average. These employees were taking their sweet time on purpose. Not to mention they were extremely rude.

If this isn't enough to make someone furious then just wait, it gets better. After finally getting within five people from getting on the ride I hear the intercom come on only to say "We apologize for the incovenience but Dare Devil Dive is now closed". No explanation, no reason, no time frame of when it will open back up. Me and my fiance are now absolutely livid. It is now 9:07pm and we have just spend4 hours and 37 minutes standing in this line for nothing. As we are walking back down the waiting ramp to exit the ride (because they wouldnt let us cross over and go off of the exit ramp, we had to back track through 500 people) we hear the intercom come on again "ladies and gentleman we are now opening back up Dare Devil Dive". As me and my fiance look at each other in amazement (as we havent even been back tracking to  get off of the ride for 30 second) we walk back as close to we can get from our previous spot in line and beginto  wait AGAIN.. After 30-40 more minutes of waiting and the line hadn't moved, the intercom comes on ONCE AGAIN, to  let all of us know that we have only just wasted another 40 minutes because they are for the second time now closing Dare Devil Dive.

At this point in time I grabbed my fiance's hand and headed straight for guest relations. When I got in line for guest relations I started to notice the amount of people piling up in line was growing substantially. Obviously we weren't the only people pissed off about it, as we deserved to be. So i'm waiting behind a young lady in guestr elations who is explaining that she is having the same problems that we are all having (i.e. rude employees, ignorant employees, attitudes, unorganization of the park) etc.. and that her gold passes werent working and this and that and this. So I hear the lady behind the window say "Okay sweetie here is a refund of your money and 5 express pass tickets, you and your friends can go to the exit of any ride you chose and they will let you on immediately". Well she gets her tickets and leaves. I step up to the window and explain to the lady exactly what had happened as I did in the above paragraphs. I explain in a very calm and nice manner that I would no longer like to stay in your park. I would like a refund of my money and I would like to go home. Especially after I had just wasted 5 hours waiting in a line for some rude ignorant employees to do what they did.

She immediately said "We don't give refunds, we have a strict policy". I'm guessing she said this becauase of the increase of people that came to the guest relations line after I had gotten there because I called the lady out about the previous young woman that was infront of me that she had JUST GIVEN HER MONEY BACK TO. I mean I had JUST watched this lady 30 seconds previously give a refund to the lady standing RIGHT INFRONT OF ME. I then asked to speak to a manager as this is highly unacceptable to take peoples money from them in this way and then have something like this happen. Only for the lady to tell me "We have NO MANAGERS on duty right now, they are all away". Okay, hold on one second. Are you absolutely effing kidding me. You are a multi billion dollar theme park industry and youre telling me along with a line of 500+ other pissed off customers that "theres just no manager around for us to talk to".

It is Six Flags over GA's responsibility to make sure that their ducks are in a row and their s**t is organized and taken care of. They had absolutely no clue how to coordinate park rules from one section of the park to the next. Half of the employees are absolutely rude and slow and the other half are too ignorant to even be able to do their jobs the correct way. The way I see it, if you are charging people 63.99 plus tax to get in to your theme park, and it is so crowded that your customers can't even get on to ONE SINGLE RIDE within 7+ hours, then you are doing nothing but stealing from people. Enticing 20,000+ peoples imaginations with 12 roller coasters that each take 4+ hours of a wait is wrong and unethical. Who pays 63.99 per person to walk around a park and look at roller coasters knowing that you will only get to ride one and thats if you're lucky enough to makeit  past the ignorant and uneducated of their job employees. I understand that six flags gets crowded but this was absolutely absurd and Six Flags should be held responsible for this when in reality all they wanted to do is say "Sorryi t's not our problem". News flash six flags. THIS IS EVERY BIT YOUR PROBLEM. There should be a certain limit of people that are allowed in the park at one time. An occupancy limit. Other than HORRENDOUS customer service, wasting 7+ hours of my life, ignorant and uneducated employees that were slower than my grandma, 135.99 down the drain and not being able to ride ONE SINGLE ROLLER COASTER I guess six flags was gre... Actually I'll never in my life spend another dime at six flags again as well as I will continue to make sure that every one of my friends and family never go there again. The perry georgia national fair is run better than six flags over ga and that is so sad.

Be CAREFUL when purchasing tickets. If you go at the wrong time YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND. And my guess is the same employees are employed year round so you can most definitely expect to deal with the worste of the worste ride operators. Needless to say when I left I felt as if I donated 135.99 to six flags over ga and they cared absolutely nothing about it.
