SKYPE (NETHERLAND, ESTONIA(AMSTERDAM, LUXEMBERG) --SKYPE SCAM SCAM SCAM PRICE HIJACKING, WRONG BILLING, OVER CHARGES, NO RESPONSE, NO RESOLUTION. Amsterdam Internet
SKYPE IS TOTAL SCAM BEWARE:
PRICE HIJACKING, ILLEGALLY CHARGING AMOUNTS, WRONG BILLING..... BEWARE OF SKYPE SCAM.
I have been using skype often for making pc to landline calls. I was very happy with quality of service . I used to charge 10 $ every time. Never cared to check account thinking every thing would be okay. But off late when I saw even for 5 minutes local north american call over 0.25 $ or more is deducted,or 2 minutes were charged as 0.11$ without any mathematical basis.
I got suscpicious and started traceing last one month account, i found total random charges with wrong amount, hijacekd price with no mathematical basis. ( time multipled by rate/minute) .
In many instaces per minute charges were 0.10 $ or even higher to the fancy of skype management-(FYI published price is 0.021$ per minute)
I immediately tried to contact them , but there was no phone or emails. Only solution was to send them mail by online form.
Fortunate enough to get reply after 4 days which was not an answer to my complaint, rather they just send me a link to check FAQ.(Misleading practice)
I was irritated with their response. Again I sent them email specifying issue of price jacking and over charging. Till today in last 2 weeks there is no second response from them.
Now I feel(confirm) Skype cheat customers with random charges,with jacked prices/minute.They Never respond to complaint or resolve anything. Price we eventually pay is much higher than local reliable services or phone cards.

I EXPECT EVERY USER TO VERIFTY THEIR BILLS, NO DOUBT THEIR VOICE QUALITY IS GOOD, BUT BILLS ARE REALLY RANDOM , ARBITRARY AND RIP OFF.

Skype emails are replied from bay area in San jose from ebay server. EBAY-PAYPAL-SKYPE they are all associated. Worst thing is these companies don't have phone numbers, address, or location of their whereabouts. When we search their IP they are some where in small town of Europe. Whole think looks like scam , they are going to sink soon, if they do not wish to change their ripping style. Skype is also running forum with their hired(paid or unpaid) devoted people who help them in protecting with their scam. They do show as if they are helping you. But moreover their job is to pacify customer or blame them. I had short interaction on forum.skype.com, I found moderators are their own associates and some super user tag holders are their patrons who most of time accuse complainants to protect skype. though these guys do not say they are authority to do so, but they are in a way hidden partners of skype I feel skype make tonnes of money every day by wrong billing and doing scam. 1 $ or 0.50 $ a day in cheating makees million a day when there are millions of members.
