Complaint Review: S'MOORES SPANIELS / SANDY SANDO - Arcanum Ohio

Wow these stories are really interesting. Stayed on here and did much research just to try to follow the stories and see for myself who I thought was being honest.  After much research on all 3 kennels I have noticed that one person in particular is being very dishonest and has made a very bad reputation for herself...Alice Gettelfinger. 

I researched each kennel and was unable to find a harmful past on S'moores Spaniels or on DNL Kennels but was able to find much dirt on Alice Gettelfinger, aka Wunderland Cockers, aka ACC's Cockers. Seems as if she changed kennel names in the past for some reason. Anyways in the past she had a few ripoff reports wrote about her and every time she responded as a rebuttal she used the AG account to respond to those. Therefore, when she just recently wrote the reports about these other two kennels from that same AG account I would have to agree that it is her. Using WC for Wunderland Cockers account after using AG for Alice Gettelfinger makes it pretty obvious to the average person that you are one in the same. Also not to mention that the horrible grammar and misspelled words are also major clues that it is the same person doing all of this slandering. This is just my opinion but it is a very educated and researched one.

Also I have been studying the pictures and I am not impressed. I do think several of the pictures posted by Alice or Wunderland Cockers have been made out to look worse and have been doctored in several ways. Not even sure she uses the same dog in each picture. As far as the pictures of little Daisy goes, she looks very healthy and every puppy has a little dandruff and sheds more when they are nervous. Where are the vet records to show it was actually "walking dandruff"??? Also spray painting the pink blanket in Photoshop to hide the mess she had left on the blanket was just funny but proves Alice does Photoshop pictures! As far as the pictures of Bo goes, they look  very doctored. I can see Alice's hand grabbing Bo's testicals to push up his spine. In another picture the hand is pushing up his stomach to show the spine as well. The pictures are almost all blurry and taken in ways that they can be stretched or taken in from the sides to show a different look than the original picture. I also don't believe the same black dog is used in each picture! Check out the white mismark on his chest. In some pictures it is there and in others it is not. Also I am confused as to why a male would have a PINK collar on but blue in other pictures.  It just all looks to be dishonest and I saw through it! Also he does not look to have lice and are there vet records to back up the lice and worms claim? If he was so skinny and unhealthy how did he bread 2 dogs (Alice's site has 2 litters from him on it) and wouldn't the lice pass to your dogs????

One last opinion to share is about all of their websites.  DNL Kennel's website focuses on giving information about their business and their dogs and has nice clear pictures of their dogs as well.  S'moores spaniels's website also offers information about their own business and their dogs and offers several clear pictures of each dog. Wunderland cocker's website looks like a slandering organization! This website does not focus on their own dogs or their own business.  In my opinion it looks horrible to have a champion male advertised for stud service and when you look at his page all you see is bad pictures and slander. And then to have a puppy for sale and the whole page is showing slander after slander of the breeder and again bad pictures...who is going to want to use Bo for stud or buy little Daisy with pages like that? 

Anyways this was just my opinion on this whole situation between the 3 breeders.  I like seeing professionalism and nice clear pictures and valid information pertaining to me wanting to purchase a dog or puppy. Slander to another breeder does NOT make yourself look better than them even if it was all truth but in this case Alice Gettelfinger was caught in many lies.

Aice has been my worst experience ever in Cocker dealings. She was very inconsiderate and constantly lied to me about everything. (3 months later and she wont let go of the deal... she is still trying to run my kennel name down.)

I remember when Alice first got this dog, she told me how much she liked him and that he was a nice dog. He was a little skinny, but she knew that when she bought him as she picked him up in person. 
 
Alice wrote on a seperate ripoff report that she did NOT post this about BO, but a friend of hers did, but then sent me an e-mail saying she did. (I do have this email if anyone needs it.)

She even so much as said this in an email to me yesterday:



" I don't care who I piss off. I don't need any dogs from no one I keep my own."

"I'm am so sick of you want to be breeders doing that. You just see ch in the name."

She also tried to pose as another customer saying they had a problem with my dogs also, but she forgot to log out of her own account! I pointed out that she lied and I knew it and now everyone else could see what she had done online. Now she is writing tons of fake reviews about me on her website.  

Please understand that while I do not know S'Moores Spaniels very well, I do know Alice and what she can do. I would trust S'Moores over Alice ANYDAY.

WUNDERLAND COCKERS DIDN'T POST THIS ABOUT S'MOORES COCKER'S BUT I DO KNOW WHO DID AND IT WILLL BE TAKEN CARE OF. ASAP.  THEY THOUGHT THEY WAS HELPING ME . BUT THIS WAS NO BIZ OF HERS TOO POST EVENTHING ON MY BEHALF

On March 4, 2012 I made the mistake of selling this crazy lady (Alice Gettelfinger) a dog. She had been trying to get me to sell her one since November of 2011 but could never come up with the money (I have several emails to prove it-kept them ALL). I had read all of the bad reviews against Alice Gettelfinger and Wunderland Cockers and other names she used in the past on numerous advertising websites, but against my better judgement and because the co-owner (Vicky Martin) of Bo wanted me to, I did. She had emailed me asking if he was thin and I said yes but not as thin as when I rescued him (still have those emails as well). I had put 7 pounds on him but he was a very active and happy dog being able to run so he never got fat. My vet told me it was better for him to run then to be put in a small kennel just to put extra weight on him. Bo was vetted annually, was on Heartgaurd, Frontline, and up to date on all of his shots. When I rescued Bo he did NOT know his name, weighed 15 pounds, and ate his own crap as it came out of him. When he left my home and went to Alice he knew his name, no longer ate his poop, and was a healthy 22 pounds according to my vet (have records to prove this too). 

Alice Gettelfinger would not stop calling me on March 4th saying she needed to get him THAT day because she had a female in heat. She showed up at my house at 11:15 PM. Alice and her sister came into my house and commented on how happy of a dog Bo was and how much energy he had (not signs of a sick dog). He was chasing a ball around my kitchen. He did need groomed but she did know that before she came to get him (due to my health and her last minute decision). As soon as Alice got Bo home the story suddenly changed. She started complaining about everything behind my back on facebook to other breeders to try to make herself LOOK like a hero. If Bo was in as bad of shape as Alice claimed, how did he breed her female Sophie that very next morning (pups were born May 4)??? She also then a few days later bred him with another female (Gobbey) which had pups May 21st. A truly sick male could not have bred two dogs back to back like that and produced anything. 

Had Alice not started posting lies about me then I would have never known about this scam website unless I had read her bad reviews from people. Alice has done this sort of thing to others as well (has some reviews on this site). Seems to be anyone who has nice dogs and are in competition with her. 

Just to clear my name up some please visit my website and view my UNALTERED pictures of all of my dogs. My pictures are all clear and very precise and are unaltered and in my opinion most of Alice's pictures are blurry, stretched, and look to be altered.
