Soap.com Their smoking cessation products are mostly two times the prices of other retailers. Internet
I was looking for nicotine patches and gums and stumbled on Soap.com. Looking at their nicotine patches I noticed the price $61 when the other day I bought the same product at Target for $31. This enraged me and I did a web search of prices for Nicoderm CQ Step 1, 14 count which happen to be around 30-40 dollars. I feel that this company is taking advantage of smokers and if someone who has not seen the prices at other stores goes to this website they will pay close to two times more for the same product.
So i went beck to Soap.com and noticed that their generic brand of nicotine patches was more than the name brand at other stores and this really made me mad. As a person trying to quit smoking I feel that they are ripping people off badly. This has to do with all of their smoking cessation products also which all are outrageously priced above other retailers.
So i called their customer service center and asked them why their product was nearly two times the price of other retailers and she said "I'm sorry but we have to make a profit off of our items." I was infuriated by this. This makes me mad that someone would rip someone off when they are trying to improve their health by quitting smoking. I hope this problem will be resolved and Soap.com will realize that they can't get away with ripping people who have an addiction off.
