Sofa Express DO NOT BUY THEIR SOFAS - Very Poor Quality -Huge RIPOFF Jacksonville Florida
I'll make this short and sweet. Bought a $2000 sectional and recliner from Sofa Express 3 years ago. The fabric on the sofa looks like it's 20 years old now. The only people in the house are my wife, myself and the cat. The recliner looks like it was purchased yesterday, but nobody ever sits on it except the cat.
So, when I call customer service, I am told that there's nothing they can do, since the fabric only has a year warranty. WHAT? Since when does a $2000 sofa wear out after 3 years?
The wife and I both work, the cat is a stay at home cat. Nobody sits on the sofa during the day, and it's used maybe 1-2 hours at best in the evening and weekends. I've never had wild sex on it, (nor has my wife, I'm not sure about the cat, but she's fixed), yet it still looks like it was purchased at Goodwill.
Guess I need to take a "Ripped Off at Sofa Express" sign and parade in front of their store for a few weekends. Pass out flyers with pictures, chat with the nice folks that are looking to buy some furniture...hehehe.
