Software Plus Tech SPT "Erica" Are you expecting what you ordered? DON'T USE SPT THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!! Newport Beach California
Software Plus Tech SPT On March 29th ordered Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit DSP OEM Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit OEM with SPI as an upgrade to my current Windows Vista OS.
The software had a 3 to 5 day shipping method through USPS but never made it to me although I was provided the following USPS tracking number # 940010969993xxx. When looking up the tracking number on the USPS web site I received the following notice: "Electronic Shipping Info Received " 940010969993xxx Electronic Shipping Info Received" this notice indicates notice of delivery from SPT but software had not yet been received; this notice was showing more than a week 7 working days after order was placed.
I tried to call the company never getting a "real" person only a canned message machine saying they will call back but they never do. I sent email direct to the company via response to email acknolwledgment, and finally posted notice on the "On Line chat" session which only takes your information then says they would contact you. To my surprise a person did respond to that with the following "Hello, Im so sorry for the delay,your package has been lost by Usps im going to send you another package via priority mail tomorrow. Thank you, Erica"; however, once I received the package 5 days later btw, it was the wrong software!
SPT had sent me a "Re-Install" disk not an actual copy of windows 7 32 OS with SP1 (received) May 3rd which I could not use. I have attempted to contact via all the means identified previously but this time no response. The total cost of the software was $64 dollars which is a bit cheeper than other sites which I feel lures people in for a purchase nightmare!!! BUYER BEWARE, this company if a real company seems to be run from a garage and it is likely you will not receive what you ordered or will receive something not advertised.
I would not expect to get your money back.
I would be game for a class action law suite if any lawyers are monitoring this thread.
