SoftwareOutlet.com purchased product, credit card charged, never received product and can't reach company Santa Ana California
I purchased two software items from SoftwareOutlet.com on April 24, 2007 for a total of $162.95 (including shipping). My bank account was charged immediately and an email was sent to me that my order was confirmed. The very next day I received another e-mail that one of the products, the one for $153.99 was on backorder. I called the phone number and the person who answered couldn't give me a definitive answer as to when the product (Microsoft Office 2007 Standard Edition) would be in...at least 2 weeks. That was April 25, 2007.
Since that day, I have sent several e-mails at first, requesting information on a possible ship date, then 2 emails requesting a refund...no response. I also called a number of times and no one answered the phone. There was no voice mail or answering machine either.
Today, 5/23/07 when I tried the phone again I let it ring many, many times and at the end a recording said the number was disconnected. That'w when I decided to write this report. For almost a month I have had no response and no product from this company, but they have my $162.95!
