SOLARSHIELD SUNROOMS. DAN GREEN/STEVE GROVE, CONTRACTOR purchased a sunroom, that leaks, Dan Green told us to live with the water problem, or we pay for their bad work. Altoona Pennsylvania
Purchased and paid for a $26,000 sunroom from Solarshield, through the Sam's club, which we never recieved the 10% discount we thought we were getting.
Sunroom has had over seven water leaks and the walls of the sunroom have a one inch gap to our outer home wall,
Contractor Steve Grove was back to repair problems at least six times, but all he did was drill holes in our new material and use chaulking to try to fill the gaps, none of which solved the problems. And the rain keeps coming in!
Contractor himself stated that he can not figure out the reason why this sunroom is leaking.*** Here's a clue, you put the room up in three days, at a cost of $4,000. and you took off like a theives.
We have documented phone calls that number around eighty call to Solarshield and the contractor, alot of these calls where ignored and the contractor said he did not have service.
If you run a company you answer your phone, if your a contractor you get a better phone company, these are all excuses.
Today has been over 108 days and we can not finish the room with electrical, flooring, carpet or just enjoy our sunroom in the summer like we expected to.
Dan Green and his contractor Steve Grove have been playing volley ball with this problem, one claims its out of his hands and the other claims that he does not know anything about what the other one is doing.
The following just topped the cake; after numerous phone calls,
Dan Green of Solarshield called us back and stated that he had two ways "we" could solve "our" problems!
!st, we can "learn to live with the -water- problems". or
2nd, he Dan Green will send a contractor out to tell us how much "it will cost us to fix our problem".
We advise anyone wanting to buy a sunroom from Solarshield to beware, this company is a rip off when it comes to the 10% discount from Sam's club.
This company is a rip off when they claim to stand behind their "expert Consultant Designers" BUYERS BEWARE
