On July 11, 2016, a message appeared across my computer screen advising me that I should not try to delete the message or try to close my internet program, as once I did that, everything in my computer would be destroyed. 

The organization's name was TW Technology and for the group to provide the services I now required, they initially requested hundreds of dollars. I advised them that I was a senior citizen and lived on a very fixed income and didn't have that kind of money. After much haggling, they accepted $99.99 by credit card to get into my computer to allow me to be able to continue to use my Internet program. I kept getting calls from them telling me that they had to get back into the computer and for me to allow them back in again.

Finally I had enjoyed as much as I could stand and after the final call, which was late in the evening on July 11th, I refused to let them back in my computer. The following morning I contacted my Credit Card company advising them of what happened to me and they reissued me a new credit card. Then I called Time Warner Cable Services to advise them that someone from TW Technology called me and what had happened. Was advised that no one called from Time Warner and that they never charged an individual for help online.

Then rushing to my aid was Solid Technologies to advise me that their computer tech services could repair my computer and get it in tip top shape for a cost of more money than I could afford. It ended up being $199.99 with 12 month contract and a special account number which I had to call the company monthly to report any problems or concerns with my computer. Thus far this month I have contacted them 6 times because I am having problems that they try to correct, but are unable to do so. This morning the same original problem is still with me. 

Sadly, I really liked the Tech that I initially spoke with. He was pleasant and professional, well spoken and sounded sincere. Oh well, sometimes we learn the hard way.
