Well mr Duke its been a while....  I really dont know what else to say to you..  you really make me laugh..  well here is a update for you..  Danielle and alex have been taken care of..  they have brand new armstrong flooring and even greg dawson from the sential wrote a nice big article about us.... i even didnt write that one on here..  that was a customer named calvin cleary who lives in baldwin park(he read some of things and still went with us... and he also wrote to greg dawson..  so again im not going anywhere, my business is doing really well and my customers are very happy..  if you want you are more then welcome to come here and call a few of them(but you probably wont, b/c your a loser who sits in front of a computer all day long and does nothing), but thats ok..  all the problems that you think we had are no longer here..  everyone is happy and everything is ok... you so can post all the things you want and i will be here to reply back to you..  I still have the same number as i did 8 yrs ago, so im not hiding, i still have the same store for the last 4 yrs and im not going anywhere, so what else can i say to you...  by the way i think you are Ken Martin....  if so all that junk you talked about, but you still use my installer to put in your floors last month..(thats to funny...) so be a man, and leave us alone or just pick up the phone and call..  you have both my numbers and you know my location...  but you probably wont, so go ahead and wirte something else b/c it just makes you look stupid..

Recently I bought engineered hardwood from DLB Flooring on Corrine, Orlando FL.

He worked with us on getting within our budget and was very attentive to us.

I only, last week (days before the scheduled install), found out about this bad buzz (rip off report) about Danny, DLB and his installer Mark Langlois so I called them with my concerns.

I ended up following up with the floor manufacturer and they confirmed they sent that order to a local warehouse. No bait and switch. It arrived on time and was picked up by the installer. Its exactly what we ordered, expected. Mark Langlois and his team did the install just over this past weekend (May 8 and 9, 2010) and it looks great!

I will be using them to finish the rest of our house down the road and will recommend DLB to friends.

A business cant please everyone every time I suppose, but this time they nailed it. Pun INTENDED.

Of course you cant keep arguing with me you cant win any arguments because the fact is you are doing all these things that you are accused of. You can claim you took care of them, them being some of your ripped off costumers.

It only took a year and the threat of bad publicity and court for you to start paying people back. It doesnt matter anyway. Even if in your mind paying people back makes it all better it does not mean that all parties involved are happy about what happened. They can complain about you whenever and however they want as a big fat warning to other consumers DO NOT USE DLB FLOORING THE OWNER DANIEL LEE BATTERBEE WILL RIP YOU OFF.

If I was you I would also hide. Because it looks like you will be in jail soon especially if this keeps up. Eventually your form of fraud moves away from civil and becomes criminal. You are there. I believe enough evidence exists for someone to make a criminal case against you.

wrote to my credit card company

when dealing with a refund Danny Batterbee told
me he would give me:

On Friday, May 15th, 2009, I bought 1498.72 square feet of Park Avenue 12mm
laminate flooring, underlayment and coordinating trim from DLB Flooring located
at 3118 Corrine Drive Orlando, FL 32802.  I paid $5342.11 with my At &
t Universal Mastercard.  After this purchase I decided to upgrade the
underlayment for the flooring.  On Monday, May 18th, 2009 I authorized
another charge of $628.25 for the upgrade.  When I received the flooring,
underlayment and trim I realized that some of the trim pieces were
incorrect.  The owner of DLB Flooring, Danny Betterbee, told me that he
was going to correct the order.  I waited and eventually decided to return
the trim pieces to him.  On Thursday, June 18th, 2009 I returned the trim
pieces to DLB Flooring for a refund of $175.00 which posted two days later on
June 20th, 2009.  On this same day I mentioned to Danny Betterbee that I
had 7 extra unopened boxes of flooring left over after installation.  He
told me that I

 could return the 7 boxes to DLB Flooring for a full refund of
$356.93.  I returned the 7 boxes of flooring to DLB Flooring on Monday,
June 22nd, 2009.  Danny Betterbee gave me a handwritten credit slip for
$356.93 and told me that Armstrong would mail me a check for the refund. 
After waiting for at least 1-2 months I called Armstrong to see where my refund
check was.  They informed me that they do not mail refunds to
customers.  When I contacted Danny Betterbee he changed his story and told
me that his distributor was supposed to mail me the refund check.  He told
me he was going to contact his distributor and call me back.  He did not
call me back.  I had to repeatedly call him and leave several voice mails
before I was able to get a hold of him.  Since then he has consistently
given me the runaround.  At one point he even told me that he was not able
to make contact with his distributor because he (the distributor) has been out
of work due to cancer.

 I attempted to call Danny Betterbee at DLB Flooring in excess of 20-30
times in an attempt to resolve this issue.  I left him a voice mail every
time he did not answer my call.  He has answered approximately 5 of my phone calls. 

Eventually I started to feel as though Danny Betterbee was purposely not
answering my phone calls whenever he would see my phone number on his caller
ID.  Therefore, On Monday, October 5th, 2009 I called him from a different
phone number which he would not recognize, He answered the first call I made
from the different number.  He told me that He did not know I was trying
to call him and that he did not receive any of the multiple voice mails I left
for him.  I asked him if he could just credit the $356.93 back to my At
&t Universal Mastercard.  He agreed and even confirmed the credit card
number that the refund was to be credited to.  I waited approximately 5
days and contacted At & t Universal.  I was advised that there was no
credit/refund posted to my account from DLB Flooring.



On October 12th, 2009 my wife and I went to DLB Flooring in an attempt to
confront Danny Betterbee about the refund I am owed.  He gave us several
different excuses and lies.  He told me that after speaking with me on
October 5th, 2009 he contacted his distributor and gave him my credit card
number over the phone.  He stated that the distributor was then supposed
to issue the credit to my account.  That is totally different from what he
told me over the phone on October 5th, 2009.  It was obvious that Danny
Betterbee did not and never intended to give me my refund.  After several
minutes of arguing, Danny Betterbee swiped my At & t Universal Credit Card
at 1:35 pm and handed me a printed credit for a refund of $353.00.  I
informed him that the refund was supposed to be for $356.93 not $353.00. 
He then pulled a $5.00 bill out of his wallet and handed it to me with an
irritated look on his face.  As of this date (October 19th, 2009) the
$353.00 credit has not posted to my account.  I am worried that, based on Danny
Betterbees past behavior, he cancelled the $353.00 refund transaction as soon
as I walked out of his business.

I filed a complaint with the BBB and several other consumer organizations. 
Someone needs to get the word out on this guy and put a stop to him.

If you actually did give Christian his refund it took it going public on craigslist and the rip off report for it to happen. Good is coming out of this its not a waste of time. Or more than likely the reason for a refund would have been that the credit card company stepped in and forced the refund to happen. The credit card companies will ask for any other proof of past fraud or similar issues reported from other consumers. You have attempted to clean up some other review sights but there is plenty of evidence online for the consumers credit card company to take the side of the consumer and pursue. You pretended you machine was out of order or just plain could not afford your credit card machine. Do not do business with this guy! He truly is a hack. We had been shopping around for Armstrong floors and slick DLB came up with an out of this world price. We supposedly only had a week to take advantage of this great offer from Armstrong. He showed us supposed dealer prices from other vendors and explained how everyone was ripping customers off. We had to write a check, since his Credit Card machine was conveniently out of service (Suntrust somehow could never get anyone to come out and look at it). He sold us fake Armstrong floors and lied to my face three different times when I asked him if they truly were Armstrong brand (they came in unmarked boxes). Now we're stuck with $5k worth of junk, with no chargeback rights from Visa. It doesn't make sense to get an attorney at this point since it wouldn't be cost-efficient. He is a dirty SOB and will get what's coming to him. Stay away from DLB Flooring and Danny Batterbee.

This one was one of the reason I started my campaign about you, after reading her original post you covered up on the merchant circle. At first she didnt even realize what you were doing was bait and switch. She does now.

After switching the tile twice on her you promise an $85 discount, you owed her hundreds of dollars back. Then you write her a $50 rubber check on a closed account!!!  If I ever did half the fraudulent acts you do I would be in jail. I guess the lesson here is if you want to be a crook, do it under a business name even Casey Anthony is in jail for something like that. I guess she should have opened a flooring shop because apparently you can get away with anything than.

 DLB Issues NSF Corporate Check on Closed account by madgal - 01/08/2009

The first tile ordered and the second tile ordered were the wrong tiles, but had second delivery installed as was tired of the 2-3 weeks wait at the Holidays.

Mr. Batterbee informed me that I had an $85 refund due for the wrong tile and inconvenience, etc. Almost a month later, after numerous excuses why the check was never available, on 12/27/08, a check for $50 was issued on the DLB account at SunTrust Bank, which turned out to be NSF on a closed account. Mr. B. vigorously denied he had issued a 'rubber check', but nonetheless, has not made good on it to date, 1/8/09.

Please note that the phone number above has been disconnected; Mr. B. uses a cell phone now.

 Care should be taken when dealing with him.

Now this one Danny, another recent bait and switch exposed. I called it when I said you would want to do another Craigslist hustle dont do it. Thats what I meant by another Craigslist hustle. And dont do it means you shouldnt do it because of course you are going to get caught again. It makes me wonder how many people dont say or do anything? It must be enough to make you keep doing it over and over.

DO NOT BUY FROM DLB FLOORING

We purchased 1000 Square Feet of Robbins 1st Quality wood Flooring from DLB flooring. We were delivered 1000 square feet of Timberlake UNWARRANTED wood flloring which was obviosly factory seconds (maybe factory 3rd quality) wood flooring. Danny Battersby told us that factory made a mistake and he would fix the problem. We returned the wood to Mr. Battersby with the promise of receiving a full refund. It is now 2 months later and still no refund. We have contacted the police. The detective told us that this is not something the state attorney wants them to pursue but called Mr. Battersby anyway. Mr. Battersby told the Detective that this was a mistake and he would make sure the refund was processed. That was 1 month ago. DANNY BATTERSBY IS A CROOK. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DLB FLOORING.

So how many complaints about you Danny? They just go on and on. Every time I look there are more.

The first tile ordered and the second tile ordered were the wrong tiles, but had second delivery installed as was tired of the 2-3 weeks wait at the Holidays.

Mr. Batterbee informed me that I had an $85 refund due for the wrong tile and inconvenience, etc. Almost a month later, after numerous excuses why the check was never available, on 12/27/08, a check for $50 was issued on the DLB account at SunTrust Bank, which turned out to be NSF on a closed account. Mr. B. vigorously denied he had issued a 'rubber check', but nonetheless, has not made good on it to date, 1/8/09.

 Care should be taken when dealing with him.

Now this one Danny, another recent bait and switch exposed. I called it when I said you would want to do another Craigslist hustle dont do it. Thats what I meant by another Craigslist hustle. It must be enough to make you keep doing it over and over.

DO NOT BUY FROM DLB FLOORING

We purchased 1000 Square Feet of Robbins 1st Quality wood Flooring from DLB flooring. We were delivered 1000 square feet of Timberlake UNWARRANTED wood flloring which was obviosly factory seconds (maybe factory 3rd quality) wood flooring. Danny Battersby told us that factory made a mistake and he would fix the problem. We returned the wood to Mr. Battersby with the promise of receiving a full refund. It is now 2 months later and still no refund. We have contacted the police. The detective told us that this is not something the state attorney wants them to pursue but called Mr. Battersby anyway. Mr. Battersby told the Detective that this was a mistake and he would make sure the refund was processed. That was 1 month ago. DANNY BATTERSBY IS A CROOK. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM DLB FLOORING.

So how many complaints about you Danny? They just go on and on. Every time I look there are more.

3 complaints!!!!!!  ROTFL(Thats rolling on the floor laughing in texting abbreviations) Yellowbot alone has three!! Merchant circle has like 100 complaints about you that you have hidden. They rate you at 2 out of 10 but somehow only phony posts that you posted are visible I wonder how that happened?

Is it so hard to believe I am just a person who is helping others get justice? You are protected from instantly being arrested when you scam somebody through your store. You can steal lie and cheat people. What can they do? Can they call the cops and have you arrested? NO. They have to take you to court lots of work, that some people you rip off dont even bother to do and others have and are suing you.  Some asked for help. I saw a plea for help and helped. Look at how easy it is to be a Good Samaritan much better and easier than the rode you chose. All I had to do was a couple Google searches and I knew more about you than I needed to know.

This should be interesting.  Lets take a look at the reviews left for you on Yellowbot. Now I understand that not every person is easy to please but you personally have more bad reviews for a small flooring business than any other locale small flooring company. DLB hasnt even been in business for that long.

First you have Miss Sandra Green Run and don't look back! Strong words need she say more. I dont think so but she did.

Next we have Dave. Dave is claiming he never even received the flooring that he paid you up front for. Thats not bait and switch thats just plain and simple theft-robbery. You cant blame that one on your installer Mark Langlois. It will be interesting to read who you do blame it on.

You just claimed your customers get what they pay for. It doesnt look that way unless you consider getting ripped off as something they paid for. You stated you strive to make all you customers happy. These people are not happy if they are happy do you think they would have used such strong language against you in a public forum?

$4700 on laminate and carpet, unfinished work, no return calls, need I say more? Stay away from Mark Langlois his flooring guy, he is just as bad if not worse than Danny Batterbee.

Unfortunately, I have had the same HORRIBLE experience with this company. I waited 2 months for the flooring to be delivered after paying over $7000. Excuses began to pile up and NO wood flooring as promised.

1 year later I still dont have the wood flooring and this one man shop still preys on people paying him upfront for the perfect flooring and then keeping their hard earned money knowing there's not much they will do. It is difficult to see this happen, but dishonest business persons will do what they have to do in bad economic conditions. Pay a little more and be guaranteed to get your wood flooring.

If you still dont believe me, please go down to Orango County Courthouse and look up lawsuits on this company and you will find several where he has lost.

PLEASE DONT BECOME A VICTIM OF THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE MANY, MANY MORE REPUTABLE COMPANIES OUT THERE WILLING TO WORK HARD FOR YOU, THE CUSTOMER.

I told you to look into it plus I shouldnt have to tell you what you already know. Again Danny playing stupid will only make you look stupid so you can stop pretending what you did to your foreclosed homes was not stealing.

The law is Personal property is that which is not real estate. However, fixtures are real estate because they are not personal property; they are affixed to the land, to the house, which means fixtures stay with the house.

The house you purchased three years ago is still in foreclosure I suggest you replace everything you planed on illegally selling. Its too late for the one you lost and stripped some time ago. That will more than likely come back to haunt you, but I doubt you will be able to afford replacing the items you looted in your Waterford Lakes home, considering you cant afford to pay back the Expositos.  Keep in mind you were even selling the A/C unit and if you can pull it, you can take it!!

The FBI has set up the Mortgage Fraud Task Force. People are getting arrested for doing what you did on the local level as well. You did it twice and left evidence of both crimes. Most people used to get away with it but home owner associations like yours are getting pissed because you are bringing the value of their homes down along with the one you were formally purchasing from the bank. So more and more people like you are getting arrested for it.

The following items are assets, fixtures that should not be removed from a home that is in foreclosure:

         Cabinets and counter tops

         Appliances such as stoves, built-in microwaves, dishwashers, etc.

         Furnaces and air conditioning units

         Plumbing and copper pipes

         Romex or other electrical wiring

         Light fixtures and ceiling fans

         Doors and hardware

         Flooring, ceilings and walls

         Windows and vents

         Medicine cabinets, sinks, tubs, toilets and showers

         Sink drains and faucets

         Built-in shelving / bookcases

         Landscaping, fencing, built-in pools and spas

Assets Home Owners Can Remove from Foreclosed Homes

Here are items a home owner can remove without fearing prosecution:

         All personal items brought into the home by the owner such as furniture, clothing and common household items such as dishes, pans and silverware

         Mirrors

         Personal artwork and photographs from walls

         Stationary lamps

         Pets and pet-related items such as dog houses, aquariums, bird cages

There is no 30 year warranty. You are deliberately lying to people again! I called Rug King I spoke to Mr Soni on the phone. He does not offer a 30 year warranty on any of his products.
