Sonny Jimenez advertises for Real estate agents who are looking for a new broker promising low fees of $500 per year and then $50 per transaction for agents who sign on to his brokerage.  His assistant will fax a Disbursement form with his signature on it, and then when you use it he accuses you of fraud, theft and forgery.  He demands that you send him the full commission or he'll file a complaint with TREC and a civil suit against you.  I've also spoken with another agent where he demanded that the commissions be sent directly to him for dispersement and then he never dispersed them claiming that the agent was on 'probation' and that the funds would be released with Sonny Jimenez decided to release them....which is never! If this has ever happened to you, be sure to file a claim against Sonny Jimenez with TREC, there are already several going and hopefully this will put his reign of terror to an end. This is a SCAM, he will steal your commissions and threaten or try to extort money from you!



Much like his RimStop scam in which he promised customers the world and then screwed them completely.  Mr. Jimenez is flat out stealing money from hard working individuals.  He needs to be stopped!

 Trec clear the complaint. They could not fine were I had done anything wrong. I follow all agreements between Sonny and me.

So sorry you have to read this false report, made completely to slander my companies good name.  This report was made by the ONE and ONLY upset agent I have ever had.  Here is his information.

Matthew claims he sent a form called a CDA to my assistant then I signed it and had it faxed back.  I have the ACTUAL PROOF from him for his "stupidity" in a email he sent me.

I had an attorney ripe me off big time who was helping me with the IRS, And so they would not take everything I hade to throw down a bunch of money to get another one. My wife has had some serious health problems, that is why she has not signed up under you yet. I have a 5 and 7 year old that I am taking care of by myself and working. Things have gotten really hard an I am tring to grt through, These are not excuses for my stupidly and misunderstanding on Southway. Please do not report this to trec, I can not handle anymore stress, if you want to drop me as an agent and keep the $500 I get it. But I really do have some people that are really good people working on getting their license and would love to be under you. Please lets work this out, there is no other paperwork that you are asking for on Southway, you have everything.

I didn’t sign this CDA Mr.Key.  I do not have any paperwork what so ever on this file. 

You cannot cut and paste CDA’s.  This is a major violation, you can lose your license for that.  You need to be more

careful, are you trying to get your license revoked.  You can only get a signed CDA after I have a complete file.

 

Send me everything you have including check - overnighted to:

If you cashed check then make a check out from your account,

when reviewed you will receive your commission from the brokerage if everything

plus 2 years probation or worse revocation.  I was just in a 3 way conference

call for another agent who did something smaller then this last week.

He forged my signature on a CDA and I had no choice but to penalize him and put him on probation which removed him from a 100% commission split to 50% commission until he is off probation.

He did not like the probation or new split, so I had no choice but to REPORT him to the Texas Real Estate Commission. 

 

Here is the information from the REPORT to Texas Real Estate Commission:

I have the actual proof, the title company sent me my forged CDA which he actually faxed to his self because he left the FAX HEADER INFO on the top... 

It so sad this report comes up with my company information,  we did no wrong doing and because of one bad agent we are taking a hit.

Right now Texas Real Estate Commission has a report on him and I'm sure they will get to it very soon.

Sonny Jimenez was my broker a while back and everything went fine for the first few weeks until I had a pretty big listing.  He asked for the paperwork and then after I sent it to him, he told me that he never agreed to sponsor me taking on that type of listing.  He called my seller and took over, completely.  I left his brokerage, but he took most of my clients, or at least all of the clients he called before I did.  He made me look terrible to my clients though and set my real estate career back significantly.  It makes me feel a little bit better to know that he made himself look worse because I told all of my clients what a scam artist he is. 

I was contacted by an attorney that asked me if I would sign an affidavit of my dealings with Sonny Jimenez, so it looks like someone's going after him at least!
