Sonya Morgan Told me they had a car for sale that didn't exsist Kansas
I saw an add on craiglist for a 2005 Subaru Outback with 150,000 miles in perfect condition for $2000. My brother and i are semi desperate for a car so the offer sounded amazing. I emailed the seller and "she" gave me a life story about her devorce and she needed the money quick so she was selling it for cheep. I contacted he again to ask if i could check it out and "she" said that she handed it over to eBay to handle the transaction because she was a flight assistant for American Airlines and would be gone. she asked for some simple contact information so "eBay" could send me an invoice. when i got the invoice it was in PDF form which seemed weird. at this point all the evidence was pointing to scam so wile i was calling my brother went to eBaymoters.com to see if we could enter in the case number anywhere while i was telling it over the phone to the man who answed the nuber. Sure enugh, eBey had a vehicle Purchase Protection page discribing exactly what was happening with us and to avoid it.
I hung up the phone apon hearing that. they called back a few seconds later so i answerd and said " Is this a scam..?" and then they hung up. I excanged no $ and wasnt planing on it until i could compleat the transcation on the actual eBy site
