SOUTHERN NEVADA MEDICAL GROUP IS A TERRIBLE, FILTHY AND CHEAP FACILITY!

THE OWNER TEACHES HIS EMPLOYEES TO USE THE SAME TOWELS, GEL PADS, AND ALL OTHER MATERIALS FROM ONE PATIENT TO THE NEXT PATIENT WITHOUT REPLACING IT WITH A CLEAN AND WASHED MATERIAL. WE NOTICED NOTHING IS EVER WASTED OR CLEANED. EVERYTHING IS USED OVER AND OVER NEVER CLEANED OR SANITIZED UNTIL ITS TIME TO THROW AWAY.

THE THERAPY BEDS DON'T HAVE LINEN SHEETS OR DIPOSABLE PAPER SHEETS TO LAY ON.

MY HUSBAND GOT A RASH ON HIS BACK FROM USING THE SAME GELS THAT EVERYONE ELSE WAS USING.WE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE BACK RASH ON MY HUSBANDS BACK. THE OWNER TOLD US THAT IT WOULD COST US EXTRA IF WE DIDN'T WANT TO SHARE.

THEY NEVER CLEAN THE THERAPY BEDS. IF YOU AS THEM TO, THEY USE WATER AND NOTHING ELSE. IT SMELLS IN THERE ROOMS ALL THE TIME.

MY HUSBAND FOUND DRIED UP SALIVA STAINS AND BODY OILS,IN THE HOLE WHERE HE PLACED HIS HEAD. MY HUSBAND WAS VERY UPSET AND SHOWED THEM. THEY WERE SO OFFENDED THAT HE POINTED THAT OUT TO THEM THAT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO SERVE US ANYMORE.

IF YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HEALTH HAZARDS OF THIS PLACE, YOU ARE TOLD TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT ABOUT THE REGULATIONS IN ORDER TO STAY IN BUSINESS. IT'S A WONDER HOW THEY ARE STILL OPEN!

I'm very sorry for your experience. However, it is true that in most offices you will be charged extra for your own pads because each pair of pads can cost between 6 to 10 dollars and is not reimbursed by insurance. As far as the gels are concerned, there is no way to "reuse" the gels to apply an electric stimulation pad. These gels, or conductants, are absorbed by the body. Certain people do have allergic reactions or sensitivities to these gels and there is really no way for the doctor to know that beforehand. Regarding the cleaning of the tables, I have an important question: Were you clothed, or was your bare skin on the table? If it was your bare skin that indeed is unsanitary and you could report the office to the health department. If, however, your clothes remained on, there really is no need for a paper lining on the table itself for anything other than your piece of mind. Regarding the rules for staying in business, the "health hazards" you described are not serious enough to shut a business down. Just think of the unsanitary conditions at many restaurants that remain open! It sounds to me like your doctors did not have good communication skills, for which I am sorry. However, it also sounds like you and your husband will be happier at another facility, so you both will benefit in the end. I hope this has not spoiled your experience with chiropractors in general, as we are not all like that. Best of luck in finding another one more to your suiting.
