Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

When I spoke with the recruiter, he told me that after I finish the Nondestructive Testing program, I would receive a diploma. This was an outright lie. He also failed to tell me that you do not actually even need to attend school to get into this field. It increases the chances of getting hired but it is not necessary. The campus tour I was given excluded a lot of things: the main campus looks nice but check out it's parking lot in the back, it is filled with potholes and in terrible shape. The other campus with the hangars, same situation. The tour guide also excluded the fact that only one campus has a cafeteria and the food is gross. I heard from many students who resided in the student housing that conditions there are deplorable. I could go on about the white-wash that they give you in their supposed tour... I graduated from Spartan while working full-time and raising a special needs kid. Though I lost a lot of sleep and put my body through the grinder, I stuck with it and made some good friends along the way. It meant a lot to me to accomplish what I did but attending this scam of a so-called learning institution is the biggest regret of my life. The career services group is a joke. Almost all the jobs they have posted on the website have been filled months ago. I pointed this out and was told I am wrong, not even bothering to check out whether my information was valid or not. The career fair is helpful if you are able to relocate across the country. If not, it's a waste of time. There are so many other complaints against this school but it is almost an endless list. They are still on the government's watch list for heightened cash monitoring, if that tells you anything. This school is very expensive but yet, they have a roach problem, very out dated equipment, poorly paid teachers, etc. I hope this place gets enough complaints and gets shut down.

It's sad but you will hear the staff and instructors complaining about low pay and never getting increases over the years, yet they never pay their creditors and landlords on time. Where is the money going??? It's sad thta they can seem to afford expensive TV commercials to lure more students into the school yet they can't/don't take care of their staff and vendors. Don't get me started on the outdated equipment and the delayed supplies that students receive MONTHS after the mod is over.

Also in the past year they hired a new executive leadership regime that sound like a bunch of car salesmen. They say all the right things and then go back to their dallas offices and pull the strings that prevent the instructors from doing thier jobs.

I would NOT recommend this place. If you are considering this "school" contact the FAA to get the real scoop of their recent complaints and lack of relevant equipment.
