I placed an order of over $120 worth of merchandise on Spicylingerie.com and never received it. I paid extra for priority shipping to ensure that I would get my order by the time i needed it. After a little over a week passed and I still did not have my order, I decied to call the customer service number on the website. Like everyone else said, there was NO answer- only a FULL voice mail box. I sent them mulitple e-mail's and obviously did not get a response. I am confident that I will never receive my order. These people are complete criminals and I do not know how they are getting away with this and why they have not been shut down. I only wish I saw these complaints sooner. To think about how much money these crooks are stealing, especially now during the holiday season is disgusting. Whatever you do, DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH SPICYLINGERIE.COM!!!

Definitely not afraid, just prefer online and mail order

Nothing wrong with ordering stuff online, just need to be careful about who you order from. Not a "name brand" person, not by a long shot, EXCEPT for the businesses I order from online, and through the mail. If the business isn't well known-to me, I pass on it. I'm not afraid to go to a store, I just HATE going to stores. Nothing wrong with THAT either! Have always hated shopping, right down to grocery shopping. Yes, I'm female!!! And I can assure you, I am a well-seasoned shopper! Being that my shopping career began long before the advent of the internet, I am the darling of the mail order catalog industry! Have spent $1000s each Christmas, alone, via mail order, and even with the internet, I still order things from the catalogs. Best of all worlds is when I can sit down with the catalogs, get my orders figured out, then go online and place them. No envelopes, stamps, etc., and I have the order form for a written record. I have to start shopping in September (hardly painful lololol) to make sure everything is received, and to account for errors, etc., but have been doing it this way for over 20 years, and only memorable problem I ever had that wasn't resolved in time for Christmas was with an item from Ireland. I am certain I had negative experiences, here and there, like the people reporting with the internet stores, but that's probably how I learned to order from well-known businesses. Gotta learn somehow, unfortunately! As far as "being able to try clothes on" - well, a lot of the women I know DON'T try anything on at the store!! I think they are so addicted to "shopping" that they know they'll be back anyway, whether they need to or not, so might as well have something "legitimate" to do, like a return??? I prefer not to delude myself about MY ACTUAL SIZE, and just buy clothes that will, most likely, FIT! I also suspect they view shopping as doing something. When you are shopping for things you have no need for, that's NOT doing something. That's feeding the addiction, as well as draining your bank account. I also strongly suspect that non-store shopping seriously cuts down on needless impulse items. When I am ordering, I get a chance to review the order, frequently several times, and removing items is not unusual, for any number of reasons. However!! When in Walmart, well, that basket sure doesn't get reviewed till I get home! Strange how it happens, you walk into a store wanting and needing nothing but a minor item, then all of the sudden - you want and need EVERYTHING. I honestly DON'T UNDERSTAND why people LIKE to go to stores. I have hated it all my life. Mail order has been a God-send for me, all my adult life, and once I got on the internet - COULD IT GET ANY BETTER??? Been ordering online, in as many categories as you can hope for, since 1999, and don't believe I've been ripped off yet. As far as returns, I'd rather go to the post office or the UPS store ANY DAY! Again, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG with ordering from the internet, just don't trust unknown businesses. In light of the huge amount of well-known ones there are that have websites, in every avenue imaginable, that really isn't a hard standard to meet. And, in fact, I have ordered from Walmart.com! No, not for household staples, of course, but plenty of other stuff, and I'm then spared the trouble of preparing it for delivery, too, when it's for someone else that I don't live near. And that's a lot of people, actually. Just for the record, I was born, and will always be, A FEMALE! Happy Shopping!

Not that it is ANY of your business but I was not ordering lingerie. I was ordering Halloween costumes because there are very few costume stores in town and this late into the month it is hard to find costumes and sizes. Thanks for your help.

Why are you buying through the internet?

Geez, you're in Tallahassee, surely there is at least one lingerie store, even a xxxxor an Adult toy store that you could buy "spicy lingerie" at in person, and not pay any shipping/handling. Even department stores have sexy stuff! Good lord, between this and the Doxie Lingerie posts, I'm beginning to think you women are afraid to buy lingerie in person! It's 2006! Get your butt into the stores in person!!! (Well, I'm assuming you all are women and not drag queens getting custom costumes. That's a whole 'nuther issue!)
