Complaint Review: SportingDoc - INTERNET Select State/Province

Purchased Coccyx Cushion - Extra Soft - 16" x 18" x 3" to 1"from SportingDoc via Amazon.com. Noticed other seller: ASTAR also selling this exact same product fulfilled thru Amazon.com as well. Product description from both sellers still states:  "Coccyx Cushion - Tailbone Cushion is made of high quality standard density memory foam (3.5lb) ......What is memory foam? I purchased this product off of Amazon.com believing I was paying for and going to received true memory foam. What I received was STANDARD URETHANE FOAM as stated on the tag on the product. Please see the following for my review and two other customers reviews of this product:

"This item is NOT any type of "Memory Foam". I work in the retail home furnishing industry selling LA-Z-BOY Memory Foam Recliners and Sleeper Sofas. This is STANDARD Urethane foam as the attached tag states. I feel miss-lead by the seller's description and very disappointed in this cushion. I could have purchased this same foam from Hancock Fabrics or Michael's for under $10 here in town! Do NOT waste your money with this particular cushion-keep looking for true memory foam or a more denser cushion! "

"I am so disappointed in this product that I am writing my first review on Amazon. I am a long time customer on Amazon and have had great success with purchases primarily based on product descriptions and reviews. This product is so disappointing I had to write an immediate review. The product description stated "Cushion is made of high quality standard density memory foam (3.5lb)". This is NOT memory foam (I have a temperpedic bed so am very familiar with memory foam). This is Urethane foam as stated on the tag and it barely weighs half of a pound. It is so soft and mushy that it compresses immediately. I am 5'4 130 pounds and this is like I am sitting on a sweater. WORTHLESS for my back/leg pain after having a mircrodiscectomy 8 weeks ago. I gave it a try in the hopes maybe I was missing something and it was really a secret performer because it does have many great reviews. It was worthless. Did nothing to ease my back and leg pain. This will be turned over to Good Will since it isn't worth the money and my time to send it back. VERY disappointed in this product. "

"I should have read the reviews closer before purchase. It is definitely not memory foam, but is a cheap low density urethane foam. Way over-priced for such a product. I'll be returning it for a refund. Amazon needs to correct the false product description."

I took all my valuable time to complete this report because I believe AMAZON should force these various Sellers of this cushion to correct their product description. I did return this cheap imitation cushion which AMAZON did refund then purchased two true memory foam replacements which are great!
