I had applied for a Debt Consolidation loan and was sent an email from Springleaf Financial Saying I was approved for a $10,000.00 loan. They asked me to send them documents verifying my income which I did. They then told me that I had to show that I made more than a $1000.00 per month more than I had shown on the application. I jumped through all the hoops they asked me for and then they told me that I was denied because they basically added $12,000.00 to the money I claimed I made throughout the year! I told them I made $30,000.00 but they said I claimed to make $3500.00 per month. Because they can't do math at all that number is $1000.00 more than I said! If you divide $30,000.00 by 12 months that is $2500.00 not $3500.00. Then they take only 70% is what I was told by the Manager Teresa Browning! Do not do business with these scam artists as you are wasting your time!
