Sorry, but if you were dumb enough to go through this much trouble because you bought into the hype from Jew York Times etc., about how 'great' Apple's iCrap products are once again, then you probably got what you deserved.
Take a look around you for a second...there is something called Android that costs a fraction of the price and doesn't have all the stupid restrictions on apps, while all phone carriers support it!
A couple of months ago I bought an Android from Walmart for $99 (or you can choose from many carriers including Net10, Straight talk or Nextel etc.), for $45 a month...unlimited voice, data/internet, text etc...My Android phone happens to be a Samsung Galaxy, but you can choose from the LG Optimus, Motorola Droid or numerous other Android phones with various screen sizes, fully loaded with GPS, accelerometer/compass, etc, all at a fraction of the price....as tens of thousands of people are switching to everyday.
I'm getting sick of people getting conned by Apple Inc. (both customers and employees) because they get tricked so easily by the hype that we are all showered with everyday...and then they end up getting screwed as usual while some are dumb enough to go through the same process again!
As for me, over $400,000 of my stock options were STOLEN by the crooks at apple so don't feel bad!
By the way Apple is a racist organization from top to bottom that discriminates against customers and employees so why support this cookery run by thieves at all levels...management, executive and employees alike...

I have worked for Sprint for almost 10 years between indirect and corporate. I am not going to lie and say i remember this gentleman. I have seen thousands ofcustomers and especially on the day the iphone came out. I will say this though. If this customer cane into the store without an upgrade and wanted us to make an exception for him i told him no we couldn't do that. Sprint made it very clear to us that e were not allowed to make any discounts on the iphones. I then may have sugested to him to possibly call customer care and see what they thingcould do for him. Customer care has been kanythingnown to make exceptions. I would never tell him that they would automatically do anything for him. To be honest this sounds like the gentleman that keeps leaving reviews about me and he never even met me. He called in one day amd wanted Roberts full name and then asked for mine but we never had any interaction. I then write to the blogs he fabricates about me and have them removed. But if this is not this gentleman i apologize if he misunderstood me. I have the best record or customer service in that store amd that now that i have left i still get customers calling to tell me how mich they miss me there and that they go to stores that are closer to them since i have left.
