I had a cell phone from Sprint PCS. When my one year term was up I called Sprint to cancel my phone. That is when they tried to say I had a two year term. I asked them for proof, they sent nothing to me. Then Sprint sent me a bill for $150.00 cancallation fee. I wrote them two times and called Sprint numerous times. No one would write me back or even send me a copy of this contract they said I had.

Then I was told while I was disputing this they would not charge me late charges that they would freeze the account. Which they didn't and charged me numerous late charges of $12.95 a month every month so they lied. Finally after I had been disputing this since June of 2002 they sent it to Collectech Systems.

I disputed again through the collection agency. I sent the paper work I got when I signed up for the phone which showed all I had was one year. I never signed a contract. The man only gave me paper work with the infromation on it. They said they forwarded the letter to Sprint. Sprint then replied back to the credit agency that no I had a two year contract.

I asked the credit agency what proof Sprint sent. The credit agency reply was it doesn't matter what paper work you have, Sprint said you have a two year term and thats all we need to know. I told him again they didn't send you any real proof and I do have real paper work that I put in your pocession. The man named Larry at this credit agency said we work for Spint so what they say we believe and thats what we're going by. I am still trying to dispute this.

I have made complaints with the FTC, SEC, & ect. Now people are calling me back making me offers to try to resolve this. Come to find out Sprint put other charges on there I didn't know about. I called and cancelled my phone in June. Come to find out Sprint did not cut off the phone until July and to make it so bad they are saying I made calls during this time after I called & cancelled the phone myself. Now this is a rip off I didn't even touch that phone after June. I know this because after I cancelled with them I went and got an account with T moble. So why would I use they sprint phone when I cancelled it and went directly to T moble.
