I tried to get spyware off my computer by downloading "spywarestormer", and it didn't work! And they charged my cc $29.95. I went to support@spywarestormer and it didn't work. Then I went to clickbank.com and that didn't work either. It was a big scam and I ate the 30 bucks. Boo hiss!

Ad-Adware by LavaSoft & Spybot Search and Destroy. Look them up at ZDnet or Cnet. Never pay for that type of software.

Hi All, There is one out there that is really free and I have installed it on my computers as well as a lot of friend's computers... Ad-Ware 6.0 from lavasoft. Once you install it click the update and get the latest update. Yes, those website that throw out a pop up telling you that you have spyware then you download the software where they then tell you that you have to pay to remove it... they are a scam. One of them invaded computers by an opening in Wondows messanger... and for $40 they would disable the opening. I wrote them and told them that that was called "extortion" and I guess the FTC agreed because the last I heard they were fined and shut down. Just about all the spyware programs you find on a Google seach will search for the programs, tell you what you have and then offer to remove them once you pay to activate their program. If you try this program please let me know. Not only should poor companies be exposed, good ones should be promoted. Thanks and good luck,

SPYWARE REMOVERS ARE SPYWARE

It seems the industry has taken to proving you have spyware by installing it themselves. I too am constantly shut-down by these SPYWARE REMOVAL PROGRAMS. They are the ones infecting you. I have an issue with spydeleter.com They render my system useless by popping up their ad (even though I have Pop-up blocker). I can't close the window, I CAN HOWEVER go to their web site. My system is locked up by this "popup". These people must be stopped. Picture this...If these advertising methods were acceptable in other venues, Pharmacy companies would advertise their drugs by inflicting you with the virus. Insurance companies would advertise by having your car stolen, or putting you in an accident. And here's one not too far from the truth...Mortgage companies would advertise their refinancing by repossessing your home!
