Stainsafe, Value City Furniture rip-off! Sells bogus warranties! Palm Beach, Merrillville Florida, illinois
i purchaced a bedroom dining room-and living room set from value city furniture on 7/18/2003 after 1 yr and 3 mos i noticed what appeared to me to be ink stains on the leather couch. i called stainsafe and was told because i didnt know what type of stain i had it was not covered , so i called value city they said my 1 yr warranty with them had expired but they would send a technican out of courtisy to look at my stain. he tried to get stain out and could not. he stated to me that it appeared to be ink also, well i thought great now i know what the stain is.
I called stainsafe and after a very long wait the person on the other end said now its an accumulatoin of stains and its not covered,i was outraged.i am very early into this whole matter but as far as im concerned stainsafe is a very fraudulant company and value city furniture is one of there pawners. do not buy from either. you'll be sorry

Matt I know All to well what you are going through. I have Never heard any good things about stainsafe. there seem to be alot of sites on the Internet with complaints about this company. I've been battling with them since August 3rd....... 3 Days ago I submitted A complaint to the Better business Bureau in Florida where staisafe is located and one to the Better Business in Oklahoma city for the furiture store where i purchased the couch and warranty. then I filed a Complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney generals office and sent copies of the complaint to stainsafe and the furiture store.. Well guess what my phone began to ring this morning it seems as if they are interested in hearing from me now. Stainsafe seems to be a company that denies claims untill a person gets mad enough to take legal action.. good luck
