Stanley Kottemann and Associates Absolutely awful group of people Kenner Louisiana
First of all, my situation is very similar to the other woman's bad experience. I had a baby at east jefferson and proceeded to pay my bill along with my daughters. I paid $100 on mine and $50 on my daughters. I had another baby in December and I didn't recieve anothet bill from east jefferson, but if I did, I misplaced it with the commotion from the new baby. I get a nasty man beating on my door and ringing my bell at 8am when my kids are sleeping. I go answer the door and the police says "you've been served". I told him he woke up my kids and he scoffed and walked away. It was awful. I know my neighbors could hear and it was a total embarrassment. I called kottemann'a office and the woman tells me I owe my bill plus $400 lawyer/court costs. This place is a ripoff and scam! I went and wrote a check just to get this whole thing straight. I've got great credit and it's going to take one s******* to ruin it for me. I called EJ and gave them a piece of my mins also. I'll never ever go there again. Not only was my whole experience there awful, but now they send my bill that I've been making good faith payments to collections and rack up court costs. The office is a joke as well. I walk in to pay and there's about 5 Spanish women looking at me and speaking Spanish acting like I wasn't even there! I hope I never have to deal with these low-life, bottom feeding, scam artists again! Stay away from EJ and this law firm!
