I recently read this post (as I was concerned for my financial security regarding Star Communications) and I took the advice of the author, calling the payment processing center. I was notified by them that Star had already debited my account for the amount of $129.90 for Fantasy Vacation, as well as $4.95 for Family Fun Pass and an additional $4.95 for Star. I did not authorize these transactions (minus the 1 for Star) and I asked them what we could do about it. The woman I spoke with proceded to tell me that all she could do was send an email on my behalf, to the company, for a refund, and block my account. If I didn't get a call from them within 5 days I should call her back. I was furious, at that point, because of the bogus charges so I called Star back at one of the many different numbers provided by the generous patrons (complaintants) of this site. I was informed by them that I was charged for these things also, but they got their story mixed up saying that the $129.90 was for the Family Fun Pass not the Fantasy Vacation. I notified them that I had already spoken with the US Secret Service (# provided in a post from fort know, KY) and they said I would still have to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund. Needless to say I went to my bank to dispute the charges, and I found out that there were no charges on my account from ANY of these companies. I closed my account immediately to avoid any charges from happening and I feel much better. The purpose of submitting this information is to let you know that you can't trust anyone.
