I was originaly almost scammed by Star Communications on 12/15/05. I immediately contacted my bank minutes later via phone and put a freeze on my account. Star Communications has gotten NO money from me and will not get any. However, I am sure I am sure they have tried. That account is no longer active. Still, last week, many weeks later, I recived a Family Fun Plan package in the mail; a package I never indicated I wanted to begin with. Of course, the contact information in the package was no good; the 800 number listed in the materials was disconnected. I never did receive any other correspondence from them. I have tried several times to contact Star Communications via the three different 800 numbers that were supplied to me in my firts encounter with these scam artists. Many times I cannot get throuh. Other times I get through and upon making a complaint I am hung up on. When I have asked to speak with a supervisor I am put on hold indefinately or hung up on. I am still following this scam and hope that they will be stopped soon. FYI: check out their website at www.starcommunicationsllc.com. Good Luck to all of you!
