Star Communications ripoff $500 Shopping Spree Scam Conaga Park California
This is the worst ripoff I have ever encountered. They really worked on winning my trust, and for a while I was going along with them. Then they said very slyly, in the same tone of voice as if they were asking how old or you or what's the weather: "Now what is you bank account number?"
WHAT IS MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER? That's ridiculous to ask I said. They already knew my name, address, and bank name so with that information they could do anything they wanted.
They replied that I had to "authorize" anything they did. That is also ridiculous because with that information no bank or online site is going to ask twice about whatever transaction they want to do.
Please please please someone do something about this company. I didn't get ripped off so I think my recourse is limited, but please someone who lost money do something. Nail them to the wall. Let me know if I can help you get them...any also, anyone who hasn't been fooled yet, DON't GIVE THEM YOUR BANK INFO!
