Star Tech Thieves ... stole disable young man's computer! Lake City Florida
My son is an adult disabled individual. His computer was not working right so he and his caregiver took it to star tech for repair. Someone from star tech gave them an estimate for repair and my son could not afford it. Eventually I was told about it and went to pick up the computer. Upon arrival I learned star tech could not find the computer. In fact, they showed no record of it. Although someone called and gave a $60.00 estimate. I spoke with someone named Steve and another fellow named Bryant. Ver rude people. Bryant told me he could not find it and since it was a old computer he would "let me purchase a used one for $100." I explained that while it was old, it served it's purpose and did not intend on buying another one. I wanted my son's computer back. Since I refused to purchase from him, he told me to not set foot in his store again. I told him I would be sure to call the BBB and other companies like this one and be sure to spead the word about their deceitfullness. He has refused to speak to me since and refuses to replace the computer/tower that was lost in his companies possession.
