I am a medical bill collector for a group of hospital nationwide. I collect on balances $10,000 and up. From my personal experience on the end that has to try to collect payment from Star HRG, then subsequently from patients and guarantors I go as far as suggest you'd probably be better off with no insurance than with Star HRG. They seem to question all claims to death, one month they want other insurance information, 2 months after they realize they have this they want dependant info, 90 days late they realize they could get you on the pre-existing clause, when they are finally done dragging their feet they usually only pay $2000 and say those are the maximum benefits on your policy....the same policy employees have beening pay $200 per month from their paychecks to get!! You'd be better off putting the money in your medical savings plan or just a savings account and use it if you need it...

I would like to get a bunch of us together and sue Starbridge HRG for our medical costs plus lawyer fees. "Are you in?"
