My 17 year old son went to a career day at our local high school and just so happened to be stopped by one of the rep's for State National Training Service. The gentleman was explaining to my son about their program and my son said that he was not interested beings he is still in high school, but he would like to recieve some information about the school. The gentleman said, not a problem, I just need you to fill these forms out. Un beknowings to my son he was signing a contract to enroll into the program.

When a cheap folder with a few pieces of paper in it that looked like an elementary student had wrote it arrived at our house along with a bill for $1,000.00, I immediately called the State National Training Service.

I explained to Donna (secretary) that there was no possible way that my son can be in this school beings he is still a FULL time student in high school and works. I want him dropped from this school! She said it would cost me $200.00 to drop him from the school. I was a little upset so asked to speak with a manager, I explained the same thing to the the manager (Carl) that my son is still a full time student in high school, works and that he was only 17 (It is illegal for a 17 year old to sign a contract).

Thats when all hell broke loose! Carl (manager) was very rude, unprofessional, inconsiderate and just would not listen to anything I had to say. All he said was "If Donna gave me a quote of $200.00 to drop the school then she was giving me a deal because they usually charge the full price of $1,000. to drop the school."

I did call him some mean things and said that this school was nothing but a scam, that I was turning him into BBB and it is illegal for a 17 year old to sign a contract that I would be contacting an attorney...He literally laughed in my face. My husband also called to speak with him and got the same response!

To keep this from effecting my sons credit, I did pay the $200.00 but after paying the $200.00 I recieved another bill stating that they recieved my payment and I still owe a balance of $815.00. This isn't over yet, I won't be paying another dime and I will be getting my money back.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SCAM, LIKE MY SON DID

State National Training Service did infact take care of things pretty quickly after me having to raise a big stink about the whole matter. They did infact remove my son from the school with a full refund. Thank you
