Drew Steele at steele-management.com in Tronto ontario Canada is a scam. Do not be fooled by their so called agency front. They list them self as an agency yet call them self a managment compant. They are very green in the business. They will act like they know it all then they will send you to Gabriel Steele at http://www.gabrielsteele.com Gabriel and his brother are nothing but a scam and all they do is photos, thats it. I was lised on the website for months, not one call. They promis the world and never deliver. I have talked to top agencies in Toronto and they have nothing good to say about Gabriel steele or andrew steele AKA Drew steele hence the name change is a red flag. DO NOT USE THEM, they are not a managment company, there is a big diference between an talent agent and a talent manager. They will say you need head shots, now you don't. I have used unpro headshots and got lots of high profile, budget jobs. The reason I went to steele-management.com was for a manager, they are not ACTRA or SAG reconized nor has ACTRA or SAG heard of them..

The person who wrote this report, I believe is a client the agency released.  I can assure you Steele Management is not a scam.  If you read carefully the client demonstrates a complete lack of knowedge of the industry.  I will only point out a few contridictions.  Actors do need professional head shots and professional training.  The only exception is if you are an infant, or under the age of four. 

We do not guarentee any kind of work.  An agent provides an audition.  The talent determines the outcome by their performance.  Extras do not require any professional photos or acting lessons, nor do we advise our extras to attain them.  It is standard that extra agencies charge a registration fee, take a small commission 10%-15% and book the extras directly.  Steele Management offers a refund policy on its registration.  The stipulation is that a year from the date the client signs on,  must pass without a placement as an extra.

My company has always been called Steele Management there has been no name change further more to clarify what we do: we manage talent and develop them into professional performers.

The Better Business Bereau (BBB) did an investigation on this matter, that is why I took some time to rebutt this complaint.  I wanted to share factual accurate information to clear my companys name.  I will include my corrospondance word for word unfortunately I was not able to copy and paste original documents,  but I will happily forward the originals to anyone who wishes to read them.

We were repotring the complaint as you did not respond to the consumers rebuttal.  She advised our office that you were not replying to her and only did so after the BBB complaint was filed.  We take both sides into concideration with every dispute.
