OMG, I wish I looked up this person before hiring him to do landscaping for me! The definition of the word "Shyster"would have a picture of Stephane "Steve" Therrien!
This man is beyond dishonest! He is a smooth talker but behind his words, he will rip you off! He is self-employed "professional", he says! He uses his mousey, extremely introverted wife as his bookeeper (this woman can't bring herself to say "Hello" to you. If she does say it, she whispers it under her breath).
The first red flag from this man is that he would financially cheat on his own wife. When I initially paid him a deposit in cash and his wife was waiting outside in their car, Mr. Therrien would grab a couple of bills from my payment and puts it in another pocket (for his own personal spending account). He did this EVERYTIME i paid him!
If he would rip off his own wife, think about it, he WILL definitely rip you off! I fired him in the middle of working for me. The amount of work he did was pathetic. He way overcharged! I contacted a reputable lawncare contractor who gave me a quote and it was much less than what Mr. Therrien charged for the same work! a reputable contractor would have a website, professional letterhead on all print material, and good & bad reviews online. Steve Therrien had NOTHING!
Stephen Therrien must be horrific being "self-employed" apparently since he can't find a decent job to support his own family. When I searched for him online, I found multiple ads he posted to sell personal stuff just to make money. That is not a way to live and to support his family.
I hope his wife and son would google him to find out what a shyster husband and father this man is!
