Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
On December, 2013  we were looking for a HVAC licensed person to fix our AC unit.  We contacted a person (Steven Barber) by phone and explained the situation.  He told the unit needs to be replaced.  When he arrived at our house we asked him to show us his license, but he said he left it at his office or home.  We felt we had no choice but to let him see the AC and give me an estimate.  He said he can get the unit from the dealer and the price is about $3000 and add his labor.

When he purchased the unit and brought to the house, he wanted the cash for the unit and his labor. I gave him a check for the unit and he left. He came back to install the unit and ran to couple of problems. He started to tell me his charge is went up to get this and that. I asked to test the unit but he said he can't at this time because it is cold. He will come back and test the unit and charge if it is needed. I want to hold some of money for his return but he got upset and he refuse to complete the job. HE GOT ABOUT $4500  and promised me to come back as soon as possible.

He is practivcally a crooks and THEIF. He never asnwer the phone after that and never responded to my texts. You can't leave any voice mail and can't contact him.  The unit doesn't work and seems it leaks. I lost a lost moiney and time. BE CAREFULL THIS GUY IS SMOOTH TALKER TILL GET YOUR MONEY AND DOESN'T Have aNY LICENSES even he said he has. DO NOY TRUST ANY WORD or ANY WORK he does.  It seems he is just going place to place scamming people.
