Complaint Review: Steve Vegas - Internet

A person by the name of Steve Vegas is advertising as follows:

2002 Silver Star Horse Trailer. This is the 4-horse Star Lite Model. I am the original owner. As you can see the trailer is in very good shape and has been treated well. It hasnt had a lot of use since we dont show much. We stored the trailer in our barn during the winter. The construction of this trailer is almost exactly like the Sundowner models (which cost way more). My dealer told me that Silver Star bought a Sundowner and disassembled it so they could copy the construction. It is a solidly built trailer with great welds and proper framing. We set up the trailer to live in while we were at horse shows and even used it occasionally as a spare bedroom. (Never been smoked in either). The trailer is wired for 20 amp A.C. and has air conditioning, (which is the greatest thing at a hot horse show!!). We added a refrigerator, microwave, TV / VCR, bed, coffee pot, curtains and lighting. All the comforts of home. The front part has a 4 short wall and is fully carpeted. We never put our tack in the front but one can put the saddle rack in there as well as the rear tack room if they wish. The ceiling is insulated all the way through the back of the trailer and this helps immensely keeping the horses (and people) comfortable. The trailer has large screened-in tinted windows. I just had the trailer completely cleaned inside and out as you can see in the photos. There are virtually no dents or scratches because I own well-behaved Norwegian Fjord horses. The tires are Goodyear P235/85 R16s, (load range E) and are in excellent condition with at least 85% of their tread life still available. The spare has never been used. The axles are 7,000 lbs each. Bearings were repacked 2 years ago. I believe the trailer weighs around 4,500 pounds empty and has a GVWR of 10,000 pounds. It has electric brakes that are controlled by a unit that you mount in your truck (not included). I pulled this trailer easily with a ton truck. In fact it pulls easier than many bumper pull models Ive towed. My wife actually enjoyed driving it and setting it up for our daughters 4-H shows. It is very easy to hook up as you can see the ball in the bed of the truck for the goose neck. Trailer has lighting inside and out and all works fine. Rear tack room holds 4 saddles and has hooks for all of your bridles and halters. The four slant load horse stalls each have two ties rings, padded aluminum separators, sliding screened in widows, and an overhead vent. The first stall has a stud wall all the way to the floor too. The flooring is all aluminum and in great shape with OEM rubber floor mats (made in Canada) on top. The stalls are 36 wide and 88 long with a 7 ceiling. The trailer is 30 long total. There are four tie hooks outside the trailer for saddling up time. As you can tell, I really like this trailer. The only reason we are selling it is that we sold our farm and downsized to two horses. We just dont need this size trailer anymore.

PLease be aware this is a fraudulent ad and that the number provided goes to Kern County Library. This ad was on equine.com and when asked about why the phone number was bogus was told nothing. This person states that equine.com helps with payment transactions which they do not they only advertise nothing else. The information they provide and photo's are of a brand new trailer and that they are very busy and cannot do the transaction themselves so they will let equine.com handle it which it very untrue! The trailer is offered for very cheap with delivery included in the price and a 3 day period to decide if everything is okay and to make your descision after it has been shipped to your house this sounded strange and after much research this is very untrue. This person is very thorough in his story and photo's but gives false information.
