our international adoption of 2 young girls from china is being delayed because of paperwork that needs to be filed with the agency in bejing. My husband and I have been waiting over a year now for the case to be finalized and our 2 new daughters to be allowed to travel with us to our home in florida.
Now it has been an eternity of waiting for the chinese government to approve us even though we have been through so many red tapes of filings and papers in mandarin and english. I hope that the adoption can be finished soon so we can go on with our lives and raise our little girls and get the to school before they turn five years old.
the web site for adoptiion.com and for internationaladoption.com never told us that the wait could be up to two years or longer to get permission to travel to the USA and that we will have to wait for so long. The girls are in agency care with the chinese government and they have food and shelter but the need a family that can take care of them with a mother and father at home.
Every day i think of all the things we could do to enjoy the life in united states and give my girls a good education and health care. Now I worry that the will have to wait and not learn english well enogh for the public schools. My husband us working two jobs and we spend over $40,000 preparing for our new family. I fill out the papers with us for state department at US.gov.
I want our adoption company to please hurry and finish our papers to get our girls to us and home to us.

Social Services agency will help

Greater Miami area social services agency put a case worker on the matter and went to the home to clear up the delay and solve the problems.. The case management worker has taken on the delay and let the family know that it will not be long before there is unification and the adooption process will be finished by the end of the year. There are many hard working people trained to mediate and solve problenms that seem overwelming to families.
My two young girls are the most important part of my life right now and i only with to be with them and protect them from this frightening legal mess that international adoption is today.
You read in the news about Madonna and angelina Jolie but they have mega millions and unless i win the lotery and cannot afford the private jets and tons of fees for agencies. i just have a simple home filled with love for childen.
