steven sears accurate account of history

Civil war historian steven sears has got the most accurate historical account of the gettysburg civil war battles.  You can read the text at your public library.  these battles have been well documented with historians and have a deep tradition of notation showing in detail the exact location of battlefields and events.

many civil war reenactments are staged every year at the very spot that thousands of soldiers lost their lives many years ago.   The decendents are still eager to get information to use in genelogical accurate mapping of bloodlines and relations.  Historical societies and churches are excellent sources of information to piece together the missing pieces of the puzzle.

The U.S. and State Government has access to thousands of historical documents on microfilm at the library of congress and the smithsonian institute.  The national museum and gallery has a tremendous wealth of data.  the state of virginia maintains an office of civil war relics and museums open to the public.

The work of sears will be available for school children generations to come.  Hopefully, someday his work can be made into a movie or on PBS as a series.  Everyone has an interest in preserving the history that made this great nation what it is today.

I checked out the history on steven sears and his books, publications, interviews and public television broadcasts.  It's hard to tell the truth from fact or fiction since it was so long ago that these events occurred.  I can only imagine the long hours and hard work to put toghether such a volume of material.

There are alot of people out there to slander sears but they propably have an ax to grind and have found an outlet that doesn't require a lot of research or review.
