As a DAILY customer, i feel that he gave her fair time to get her act together, in which she did not, from my point of view anyway. There was talk in the store weeks before her stroke, from her fellow employees that she should be terminated because she didn't carry her load of the work. I overheard another customer saying they were going to talk to the manager about her attitude and inability to provide proper service to the customers. They were sure nothing would be done, because he is too nice to his employees and would never fire anyone, even if they didn't do their share of the work. so as far as him firing her supposedly because of her stroke, im sure that had nothing to do with it. So, in my opinion, im sure he's sorry now, that his balls decided to grow at the same time her stroke occured. So unless you have worked for this employer then don't critisize his opinion to terminate this employee. His only regret should be, that she sould have been terminated long before the stroke occured

I have lived in few little towns, but this one is real unit. I think that some people here just can't mind their own business. In the bible the Lord does not like busibodies, but appairently it must of been built in the town. So I think that they ought to change the name to "Suckerville". If you walk in here the sign at the beginning of the town should say, "Welcome to Suckerville, We Will Do Our Best To Screw You One Way or Another. Have A Nice Stay". P.S. Two bit s**t hole in the middle of nowhere.

I cant believe that a manager would do that. Yes there has to be some kind of law against that. If the person who wrote this knows the 19 year old girl, he should have her look into this. Maybe she wont go back to work there, but its just not right. To the woman who wrote the rebuttal: All I have to say is if you dont like you read about Tupper Lake then dont read it; there are many other things that you can read about. I agree that not all the write ups in here are worth reading, but when it is from an adult and it makes sense, why trash it?

I have been reading this board for about 6mos. And I Can't believe the hate and the poison that is in this town! The way it looks to me is that there must be some type of mild brain damage in this berg or everyone who posts on this board from Tupper Lake is 11-16 years old.
I mean My God, look at the postings and you would think that Tupper Lake is the worst place on earth to live (IE: Crooked Cops, Cheating Wifes, Husbands, Boyfriends, Girlfriends, Shoddy Repairs, Dishonest Employers, Employees, Utility Co. Resturants, Home repairs, Construction Cos...And so on and so on and so on)
Why don't you just MOVE AWAY and Quit using this board for the wheel to grind your ax on!! And to be honest(A strange concept in Tupper Lake) No one outside of your 10.4 sq mile lives really cares if the local s***k is doing your husband or wife or WHATEVER!! Just Grow Up Tupper Lake your becoming a LAUGHING STOCK!!!!!!
