Stores Online - Storesonline Attempted ripoff! ripped off others in Indiana. Yesterday, at least 120 to 150 people took part in a Stores Online all day seminar in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. My boyfriend and I both attended it.
Yes, the speakers make the business sound so wonderful... they'll do all the work for you to create and setup your website(s)and then all you have to do, is operate the sites and collect the money that comes through your sites. They also make you believe that if you pay for their services, JUST THAT DAY, then they are willing to save you money.
They attempted to consult with my boyfriend and the consultant did everything possible to get my boyfriend to apply for "what they were supposedly selling". The total cost would have been approximately $3,900.00 DISCOUNTED... yeah right. Anyway, the consultant even agreed to put our services on a financial agreement if he agreed to put $500.00 down towards it.
When my boyfriend informed him that funds would not be available for this until next week, the constultant got a little bit pushy then and told him "they had to secure his deposit TODAY and no later... the promotion was only good for today!!".
Needless to say, my boyfriend walked away from all this because he didn't appreciate the pressure they were trying to put him under.
Unfortunately, alot of the people at this seminar with us... FELL FOR IT... and according to what I have read on this website... THOSE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TAKEN FOR A RIDE AND HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN "RIPPED OFF"!!
My heart goes out to those people if it is indeed proven that they have been scammed!!! I wish I had looked "Stores Online" up before I ever attended their seminar and read all this... it would have saved us the $30 we had to pay ahead just to attend this seminar. See... people were already ripped off before the seminar ever took place!
I plan to try and get a message out to people around the Indianapolis area that might have attended this seminar so that they are aware of this website and also aware that they might have just got ripped off!

I urge people that may have been ripped off by "Stores Online" to check other report websites out on this company. Especially, go under "Better Business Bureau"...type in "Stores Online" "Orem" as the city, "UT" as the state. Do a BBB search on this and you will find information on Stores Online. It amazes me what I read through the BBB website about this company and it also amazes me that if this company is what it states it is, why aren't they a member of the BBB? This company sure has had its falls over the years. More people need to be warned about this company!!!
