Terry: I am sorry to read about your situation. Fortunately, you live in Texas and your Attorney General's office is currently finalizing refunds for Storesonline customers in that state. I suggest you contact them directly and ask about your options: By U.S. Mail: Office of the Attorney General PO Box 12548 Austin, TX 78711-2548 Physical Address: Office of the Attorney General 300 W. 15th Street Austin, TX 78701 By telephone: Consumer Protection Hotline - (800)621-0508 Curiously enough, SOL is still going strong in your area. Here's a recent news article (8/25/05) from Arkansas KATV Channel 7 warning consumers about SOL. They've included the new warnings Texas has mandated SOL now include in the literature they use at seminars: "IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING, KEEP IN MIND THIS ADVICE (which is presented to and signed by all seminar participants in Texas): If: 1) you do not have a computer, 2) do not have a general knowledge of using a computer, 3) know little or nothing about e-commerce, 4) do not presently have a product to sell, 5) do not have a plan for opertaing a business, 6) do not have sufficient capital to start and operate a business apart from the cost of this software, or 7) fit one or any combination of the previous categories, it is highly recommended that you fix these weaknesses before beginning the process of building your first e-commerce website." KATV interviews a person who has similar drop-shipper complaints as you do. You might find the article an interesting read. The whole article may be found KATV's OnYourSide website: www.katv.com/onyourside.hrb?s=1193 Here's a link to the Temporary Injunction on the Texas Attorney General's website: www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer/lawsuits.php Best of luck getting your refund.
