I have been writing complaints to whomever will listen since my last entry and finally got Storesonline's attention when I filed a complaint with the State of Utah Consumer Protection.I spoke with Storesonline's cusomer service representive and he admitted to having problems with their live help reps.He also told me that I was having so much trouble logging ono their website because I have Aol.Aol is unable to use their software.I told him that this was never mentioned to me at the seminar and that I can not afford to spend more money installng cable.I gave him very specific reasons for not wanting to continue with this endeavor and all were valid. He kept trying to reassure me and pursuade me to keep trying.I told him I have lost all the enthusiasm for this project after reading all of the reports from unhappy customers and that I don't want my name affiliated with such an unethical company. He told me he would speak with his Director and discuss giving me a refund minus a 1,000 dollar cancellation fee, and I would hear back from him in one week, well it's been 3 weeks and no response.I wrote e mails and called him today and was told he was on the phone after they asked me for my name.I then went on line and 5 minutes later there was an email from him denying me a refund. He told me how they stand behind their product and blah blah blah.I will continue now to file complaints with the state of N.J as that is where I made my purchase, and the B.B.B.I also plan on calling my local news and filing a report with ABC news in N.Y. I can't understand this company's logic. They must enjoy their name being dragged through the mudd.It would be so much easier to just try and settle their complaints. They would still be getting 1,000 bucks from all of us for their so called cancellation fee.I don't get it.so I will keep on complaining until I recieve justice.

Kelly.I to had the same problems you did, and got NO SATISFACTION form these jokers. Have you noticed the few responses that are supportive of this fleabag, conartist, circus?? "They never seem to think you might want an address of there "succesfull" websites they are claiming to have so that you might be able to check them out for your self.. Ever wonder why? Maybe there is no website? Maybe it is the "conartists" themselves writing the garbage..Or maybe they do have a site but it is not being "hosted" by the crooks at STORESONLINE... Do yourself a favor and look on the internet..There are dozens of sites that will host a website for you and give you templates and the tools to build it yourself for free. FREE!!! I have built my site and have it online through a company that cost me a total of $400.00 for the year.(www.chrissys-candles-n-gifts.com) When the dirtbags come to your town again,do what I do, copy the complaints posted here and hand them out at the seminars so other people dont get screwed like you, myself and others. If we can give a "headsup" to other people and even the hotels that are letting them host this garbage maybe then we can put them out of business or better yet behind bars.

Hi. I saw your reply. You are right. Personally I bought 6 stores in August of 2003. I have had great difficulties with StoresOnline and Professional Marketing International (PMI). My first one www.boardtrainer.com took me a long time to put up because I work as a fulltime pizza delivery driver, but since Oct to Dec. 2003 I've made $3000 gross. I found my dropshipper by myself through local businesses. I've been very unhappy with all of PMI and SOL, but I'm not going to let them stop my dream of being a successful internet store even though their services were over priced and over sold. PMI is a joke. I'm no expert, but my coach sure did make me feel like one. I owe now $7000. I can not get a refund because I did try after both services could not answer my questions. I am internet business savvy so instead of give up and get depressed, I'm working on my sites and working on making them sell and be a success. I recommend this to every person that has written a report. I have lost $30k before and am still paying that back. The only good thing I can say about StoresOnline.com is that their sites are very good, they are semi-user friendly compared to other companies and sites I have used, and they are easy to program (if you put some good long hours into it). Good luck and let me know how your store is doing to those that "choose" to work on what they have bought. For those trying to get a refund don't stop. Persistance WILL get your money back, I just choose to make my dream happen for once.

I also am a StoresOnline owner of 6 websites. I have 5 websites being developed and I'd like to say that the process has gone more than easy which was not expected. I am not a technical geek at all and I partnered up with my Mom who is 66 and barely knows how to turn a computer on! My first website is for a business we formed in September, the response is expected to be able to quadruple our sales in 6 months. My mom is using a website for extra income because she is on a fixed retirement and can't do too much physical work to earn money. The StoresOnline staff were extremely resceptive towards her. I gave one of the websites to my son who graduated from college in October. Since then he has hit it big in his field with the help of the StoresOnline web page. He wants another one! So in reading the previous rebuttal from Co Springs, I think perhaps the staff that came here was super extraordinary. I don't know. What would the chances of hitting the same Customer Service female rep? I believe that anyone who is over 20 has been exposed to enough scams or should have some insite that when invited to a luncheon, one assumes there's a sales pitch. I have been to other "workshops". One for $49 dollars only to hear the exact same thing that I heard on the cassette I bought previously for only $10! As far as these senior citizens being there, what better way to make mega money than in the comfort of their own home? I think they are old enough to figure out how to say "No." If they feel tricked in some way, perhaps they should have been asking more questions. And if they got duped and are complaining, I believe that they haven't just gotten that way, perhaps they've been that way before they were senior citizens!! Stupidity knows no age. Sales and making money in America is the highest probability in all the world, why do you think the foreigners want in so bad? It only takes ambition and perseverence. You have to work for your dollars, they won't fall into your lap. Let me ask one question, are a few annoying obstacles big enough to make you stop persuing your "dream?" Try again! Don't quit, study more, learn more and perfect the craft you originally dreamed of at the first luncheon! (And yes, I'm not fond of $79 cold sandwiches but in a few months they'll be worth $100,000!) Good luck and add a bit of prayer!

Hi Kelly, I am actually only a partner of a lady who bought 6 Stores Online websites, but wanted to respond. I am very surprised by many of these comments. I hope I can be of help. I have worked for 2 months now on our first website. We are publishing next week, hopefully. I may be premature in writing but up to this point, with the exception of one young woman that they have working for them, I have had helpful responses and fast responses. I have used online chat, phone, and e-mail (most pleased with this - as I got a knowledgeable woman). I am wondering if by chance you dealt with the one woman I got, that frustrated me, as she kept repeating to reread the Start Up Guide too. She wasn't hearing that I had read the book and it didn't help. But do you think it could be one employee who is causing all the trouble vs. a whole company problem?? I believe our business is going to be a success. It has gone pretty good. We did find a drop shipper pretty quick (through my own resourcefulness, not Thomas Register - I had no luck with them either). We feel we have a good product that will sell. I haven't had any trouble building the site, although I did find their site builder a bit more difficult than others I have since found that are out there. I just muddled through on my own and have learned a lot. Well, if I can be of help to anyone feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]. I am interested in talking with anyone who would like to discuss these issues. I think that there was some fast sales talking at the seminar (that was to be expected), but I do believe you can succeed at this, don't give up now).
