We created an account with Stripe, Inc. Account was approved, we spent the time integrating with our website, and then we were able to accept payments for about a month.
At the onemonth mark we got an email which asserted that our business was a either a collections agency or involved in selling business opportunities, and that our account would be terminated. We were using the service to bill for our Private Investigators' hours. We're certainly not a collections agency or affiliated with one, and we're certainly not selling business opportunities or anything like that.
Our complaint is not about who Stripe, Inc choses to do with business with... it's certailnly within their rights to arbitrarily deny us service. The main issue is that the "support" we were supposedly paying for is non-existent. We got our termination notice a week ago. In that time we have emailed the support email like crazy, posted in forums, called every publically available number for the company... even hung out in their irc channel. All of this has got us zero response. We'd be happy with "sorry your business falls into prohibited category because of ___.... please get another payment processor."
Thank god we're not facing an even more serious issue, like a bug on their end dropping payments.

After I filed a report and contacted Stripe via their Facebook page and twitter, problem was resolved in an hour.
They were very apologetic.
I'm not sure what the issue with their support is, but it seems that once you get their attention they are very helpful.
I'd like to rescind my complaint if possible.
