 Stripe is a company located in San Francisco at 140 Second Street. They processed over 70 orders for our company Innerdance.net. When one of our customers initiated a charge back they sent us an email explaining how their hands were tied they had to stop processing payments on our web site within 6 days and they were seizing all of the payments owed to us immediately: several thousand dollars. We filed a dispute, as we had delivered our product to the customer within 4 days of receipt of order. As we investigated the matter we found the customer appears to have used some ones credit card with out their knowledge and then the customer wanted to get credit, since the fraudster had received the product not them. The Stripe.com system does not seem to work to make sure their online credit card processing refuses fraudulent credit use. Their action rather than work with us to solve the problem is to victimize the victimized. Stripe refuses to be called, name members of their management, and provide customer service. They do not answer emails, provide phone number, just take your money and make your web site not work.
