Today I received an email about a home based business informing me of a great opportunity! I could make thousands from home!

Well, thank god I decided to check out everything I could before making a decision!

Being a widow, and having some very extreme financial problems, I thought maybe this would be a good way to get 'caught up' with bills and all.

However, I'm aware that many times widow's are taken advantage of. Keeping this in mind I thought I would first do a phone number search to see if I could find a legitimate company name.

After my initial 1-800 search with no results I was becoming more skeptical. I then decided to search the phone number with New York City area codes. I thought it strange that the last 7 digits of this phone number matched identically with an area code 212 number. Also, I found it strange that the company with the area code 212 was also very close to the 800 number. Both being listed on 5th Avenue in New York City, New York!!!

Now you must remember,I have no knowledge if the two are connected at all.......but you must admit, it is strange!!

Somehow, as I kept researching on the internet....I just happened to come accross the bad business bureau URL. I had never heard of such a bureau. But I must admit that I am glad that I just 'happened' upon it. As I read The Rip Off Reports...I was very grateful that I did not get "Ripped Off" but felt very sorry for those that did.

Keep up the good work that all of you have been doing to keeping us informed on all the scams that are out there now. You can rest assure that I'll be checking your website every time I question a business from here on out. Thank You!!!!!
