Style Sector RIP OFF! -- Internet
I placed an order with style sector back in January. After having contacted them multiple times (having been lied to about the situation) I finally got an email (mid Feb) informing me I would be getting my full order and a $25 credit for the delay in shipping. The $25 was never refunded as promised! To worsen the situation, they sent me the wrong sized boots. I also ordered a purse and wallet, when doubting the authenticity, I took it into the local Chanel store to compare, it was different material, zippers, liner... Style Sector tried to pass it off as a previous season's stock - so the next time I was in at Chanel, the sales person who has been with Chanel for years informed me that the purse has been identical in material, hardware and lining every season. Within the 7 days (as specified by the website regarding returns) I asked about sending the items back as I never recieved the invoice or a return mailing bag. They informed me that they only make refunds if the goods are damaged and that they may be able to give me up to only 30% of my money back if I sent it in. The website just says that in order to get a refund, you should send it back within 7 days - what they don't tell you is even if you do so, you're only getting back a fraction of what you paid. They are a scam, I'm still waiting on the $25 credit let alone the $500 in goods I bought which is all unwanted product. STAY AWAY!! They have horrible customer service, most of the time not even answering your inquiry if they even reply (it usually takes multiple tries to get a response) and they do not live up to what they promise.
