Just f.y.i. your loacal Health Department does not require foodservice employees to wear gloves. Subways policy requires the employees to wear gloves whenever they come in contact with food. So everytime you go to Mcdonalds, Taco Bueno, kfc, and Taco Bell...(this list could go on and on) they are in the back making your food with their Bare Hands! You just cannot see them so you do not complain. Subway makes the food right in front of you and wears gloves for your safety. So the next time you visit a Subway consider thanking the employees for washing their hands for at least 20 seconds before they put on their gloves to make your sandwich. Also consider asking an employee at an above mentioned restaurant if they have even washed their hands after returning from the restroom, picking their nose, smoking...I bet you wont care for their response!!
