Summer Winds tells lies to get you to buy, Tells you if you don't use the week you have you only pay $99, not true, you have to pay $595 until it is rented, then you get some of it back, definitely not told to you when you are purchasing.  Also told many lies about BlueGreen, which we currently own, like that it was self insured and would be wiped out with a Hurricane, and that assessments would be out of this world, not true at all, BG builds asessments into the maintenance fee schedule.  We bought on these false statements and once we toured BG and had Corporate input we realized how many lies were told.  I want this contract void, now that I know all the lies that were told in order to get us to purchase.

SUMMERWINDS STORMY POINT VILLAGE, BRANSON, MO DECEPTIVE SALES PRACTICES BRANSON Missouri

Lie  1.  10,000 credit for turning in our Resort on Cocoa Beach Timeshare, when in fact everyone was offered that credit

even if they didn't have a timeshare to sell.  Plus it cost us an additional $569 to transfer the title of the Timeshare to Summerwinds.

Lie 2.  When listing our other timeshare properitites with the company they recommend and use we would pay nothing untill the timeshare was sold.  When in fact we paid a price per week to list them. Nothing was every done on the units and they never sold, don't even know if an efforts were made to sell  them.

Lie 3.  If you didn't need your week, all you had to do was call and pay a $99 fee, when  in fact you had to pay the entire maintenance fee of over $500 and if they rented it you got all but $99 back.

Lie 4.  BlueGreen, where we have most of our timeshare units,was bought by a banker who was under insured and self-insured and not taking care of the investment.

Fact BlueGreen is insured by a Fortune 500 company, for full replacement value and since the change of ownership amazing things are happening at the BG resorts.  All kinds of capital improvements are being made and planned for the next few years.

ALL THESE LIES CAUSED US TO PURCHASED A TIMESHARE.  We found out the truth about BlueGreen from seeing documents and talking to corporate representatives.  Our sales representative was a former BlueGreen employee who probably didn't make the test of the higher standards that the new BlueGreen management imposed.

But we are very unhappy owners who are going to take to twitter, BBB. Attorney Generals Office, and any other avenue to let others know of these deceptive sales practives.  This selling based on lies, lies, lies, must be elininated and now.  I will continue my efforts while I still own this Timeshare.
